Dark Path

Chapter 2

I was standing in front of my locker taking my stuff out off my bag. I had recently met the two new kids at school, Katya and Lex. Katya was very nice and it seems that I am actually her friend and for her brother, well I'm not to sure where we are.

"Well, well, well" said a voice behind me

I turned around and to my surprise its Lex standing right in front of me and I at the same time I let go of my books.

"Boo" he said and smiled at me.

"Hey, you scared me" I said smiling.

"I know but I didn't mean too" he said

We stood there facing each other smiling. We finally broke it of by laughing.

"So, what class do you have first?" he asked

"Hum, art" I said

"Well that sucks, I have gym" he said

"Ya it does but, hum, do you know what Katya has?" I asked

"Ahh, girls" he said. I laughed as he looked at me

"Sorry I didn't mean it that way" I said

"Of course" he said as he got closer "she has Drama" he said

"Oh well Drama is pretty fun" I said

"Ya, I guess" he said

"Well maybe you should get going unless you want to be late on your first day" I said

"Honestly, I don't mind being late when I'm with you" he said
I blushed, in front of a guy, for the first time and I looked down to cover it.

"That's exactly what I wanted" he said as he lifted up my chin with his finger. I couldn't help it but blush even more.

From the corner of my eye, I realized that someone was standing there. It was Joshua Estalo. His brother, Jonas, is his twin but they don't look a like at all. Joshua has black hair and green eyes. Jonas has dark brown hair with brown eyes. Every girl has a crush on them both. But every time a girl asks one of them out, they say no.

Joshua looked at us and then looked down. Something I've never seen him do.

"I'm not getting enough attention" said Lex breaking my thoughts.

"What" I said realizing I was looking at Joshua this whole time.

"Don't tell me you have a crush on him" said Lex

"No of course not" I said

"Good" he said

"Why, you jealous?" I asked

He didn't answer. 

"Oh my god, your jealous" I said

"Well no actually cuz you don't have a crush on anybody and your not dating anybody" he said

"How do you know that?" I asked

"Just a guess" he said

"Ok well I got to go to class" I said as I leaned down to get my books. He leaned down after a second and helped my pick up my books. He gave them to me as I thanked him and turned around to put them away. I heard footsteps and I wasn't sure if they were coming or going but it was probably Lex leaving.
I gathered all my books and as I was going to close my locker, my phone vibrated.

'Hey, meet me after class?' is all the text read. I put it in my pencil case not thinking of anyone who could send me that text. Im a loner, I have no friends. Then when I took 2 steps, my phone rang in my pencil case

"Hello?" I answered

"Maybe I should say who it is before I send" said Lex

"The text is from you?" I asked

"No it's from the dog" he said sarcastically and I could tell he had a smirk on his face. 

"After class it is" I said

"Awesome, see you" he said and hung up.
I locked my phone and shoved it in my pencil case.

Lex was sweet and nice and I can't believe I'm saying this bit I think I might actually like him. And Katya was nice too. Maybe they are my actual real friends. That would be awesome.

I entered class and walked to my table. I heard Lizabeth and her friends talking.

"Oh my god did you see the new guy" she said

"Ya he so cute" said a girl

"I heard he has a sister in our grade" said an other

"Then to get to him, I have to get to her" said Lizabeth
B***h no

" I heard she's kinda like her" said a girl pointing at me.

"You're kidding right" said Lizabeth

"Sadly no" said her 'best friend' Yurig

"Shit"

Don't try Lizabeth, I'm your worst nightmare.
