Chapter 3

"So Lizabeth is trying to get to you but she wants to use Katya to do that" I explained to Lex as we walked around the soccer field.

"And you said you're alone" he said.

"Yeah" I said.

"Well people are stupid" did he really just say that? I thought he would totally leave me.

"Wait what" I asked.

"I think you amazing Danny and its great that you came to tell me about that girl and honestly, I think you just need to come out of your shell and people would find out how amazing you are" he said.

"I huh" I couldn't finish, I didn't know what to say "I guess your right" I finally finished by saying.

"I always am" he said.
We laughed together until someone jumped on Lex. Lex surprisingly caught the person who jumped on his back and it was Katya.

"Hello Brother" she said

"Katya" he said

"So what were you guys doing?"she asked

I was about to tell her but Lex didn't give me a chance to say a word.

"Walking" he said

"Of course" she said and got down from Lex's back

"So you guys heard about the dance that's happening next month?" asked Katya. Ugh, not that stupid dance everybody is talking about and going.

"No, I'm new here and people don't really talk too me" said Lex

"Well I'm not new and yes I already knew about the dance" I said not showing any interests in it because I didn't want to go and I didn't have any intress in going. 

"Guess who I'm going with" said Katya

"A date, now, really, don't you think it's a little early?" asked Lex with a little protective tone.

"No and his name is Jonas" she said

"Jonas Estalo?" I asked

"Ya, how did you know?" she asked

"Again, I'm not new and I've known the twins since 1 grade" I said

"Oh yeah of course" she said

"So, who are you going with, Danny?" asked Lex curiously

"Oh well actually I'm not going" I said looking down, Katya was going with one of the hottest guys in the school. I'm happy that she's happy and going with someone but really, I don't see any point in going to the stupid dance.

"What no Danny, you have to come, you're my only friend" said Katya. And she was also my only friend but I didn't really want to go.

"Yeah, come on, I have no date either" said Lex trying to make me come.

"Huh, every girl is crushing on you" I said

"Yeah, well the only girl who can get me, is you" he said

Oh god did he really just say that? I really can't hide the blush now. I just couldn't believe it. Was he asking me out?

"So, I'm gonna take that as a yes" he said

"What?" I asked

He only flashed me a smile

"Huh, this better only be for the dance and not, you know" said Katya

"Don't worry Tya, I'm not going to date your one and only best friend" said Lex playfully.

"Okay, well, I have class and I think so do you two, so bye!" she said running back to the school.
She had left me and Lex alone. I was going to the dance with Lex, my best friends brother. I could do this, and stay friends with both, right?
