•On the other side of things•

"So lay it on me, crips or bloods" I ask the new receiver we got. "Excuse me?" He sounds offended. "What man? I've never seen a crip walk in person only on YouTube." I say kind of jokingly. "Yo, yo he's just joking man. Ignore him" our captain, Jordan, says. "Asher, you wouldn't know a crip walk if it bit you in the damn white ass" JJ proclaims. Spencer turns around, "nah that didn't sound like a joke to me bro." Spencer stands up, "yo don't be so sensitive." I say trying to not get my face bashed in. Not gonna lie I am intimidated by him. "Sensitive?" He asks shocked. He looks over to Jordan and thanks him for the welcome and then walks off. Layla goes after him.

•At practice•

Spencer gets on the field and says, "You're in trouble now boy" as he sticks his tongue out. I look confused as to where he's going. The first play begins and he's doing it all wrong. He's running the wrong plays. I go up to Jordan to have him at least do something.

"What the hell, man?" I say angered because he's doing it all wrong and I can't do anything. However, I can admit he's good. I will never admit it out loud though. "I got it, I got it. Calm down" Jordan says to me and pushes me back a little bit.
"Hey, yo. You're running the wrong plays." Jordan tell Spencer. Spencer looks cocky and says, "You know what they say. We all wrong, we all right." He says cockily. Jordan shakes his head and informs him that that's not how we do football here. Then coach calls us over.

"All right boys bring it in" coach claps he looks at Spencer and asks him if he's ever played safety.

"Man, I don't play defense." He says almost matter of factly. God I wanna punch this kid, I think. Then coach looks at him and says, "you play what I tell you to play." He, Spencer, looks shocked.

"So you're just gonna change my position like that?" He asks In almost agitation. Him and coach started getting into it. Coach gives him an ultimatum. He looks around and goes and sits on a bucket. We start to play.

"Woo! That's how you play football." Coach says. I look at Spencer and tell him that he best get comfortable.

I get to the school and get out of the car and head into school. I'm so damn jet lagged but I have to get through half of the day and I go home and sleep. I'm walking down the hall and people seem to recognize me, I mean common I'm the son of two famous MMA fighters. I feel self conscious but I don't show it, I keep walking and I check my schedule. I realize I got no damn clue where I'm going. I walk up to a random girl and introduce myself.

"Hey, I'm Aidan Griffin, I was wondering if you could help me finding my Calculus class?" I ask shyly 'cause I'm new here and I have no idea where the fuck to go. I look up and she's smiling, then she takes my schedule and brings me to 534. This school is so damn huge. My legs are gonna be more jacked than ever with all these stairs. I chuckle to myself and walk into class.

(Last period before practice)
I'm sitting in my Calc class and then the door opens and this seemingly attractive guy walks in. I look at him and my eyes travel is body, down his chest, past his arms, to his lower half, his jacked legs, then back to face, his smooth face, his ocean blue eyes, his dirty blonde hair—Wait what—why am I checking a guy out? I'm straight what the hell. Then the boy talks and he has a thick accent.

"Hey, my name is Aidan Griffin, I came from Brooklyn, New York." He says with a wave and I must say his accent is something else. He looks almost awkward standing there and nervous. It's kinda cute...

"Why don't you tell us about New York? I mean if its anything close to what we hear, then it must be beautiful." Olivia says with a smile and maybe a blush too. I get a little jealous but I can't help but blush too his accent is kinda hot. He just nods to her not paying much attention to her. Good he's not interested in her, I think. He just smiles and I swear I could see the light. Then he speaks again:

"Uh yeah it's pretty I guess but there's nothing to do there besides the touristy crap. I mean the only good thing about New York is the transportation. Everything else sucks" Aidan says with chuckle. Then continues, "But if you look there well enough you will find good hole in the walls. If you're a true New Yorker, you don't like the touristy stuff you always find small thing out. All in all it's good city...you just gotta be rich." He finishes with a nod and then locks eyes with me. I blush slightly and look away. What is going on with me?!

"You can sit next to Asher all the way in the back" I perk up at my name and raise my hand. He smiles at me and walks over. Fuck. He sits down and looks at me and hold is hand out. I take it and shake it. You wouldn't notice it from far away but he's got cuts and bruises on his face and his hands. I raise an eyebrow at him and gesture to his face and hands. He smirks and boy do my knees feel weak.

"From training. A live match can get crazy." He says whisper like almost raspy. I feel the heat rush to my face and I just nod not knowing what he means. He takes a look at me and turns to the teacher.

"MMA" he says I turn and look at him confused. He smiles and says again, "MMA. I got the bruises and cuts from MMA. I'm here to bring you guys up in rank and get my scholarship to Nebraska" he says not looking in my direction and doing his work. He's cursing through his work while I'm having trouble with question 17, he looks over at me and then my work.

"Here this makes it easy. Try this." He writes some formula on my paper and solves the equation for me. I'm shocked because I never had anyone to help me. "Thanks" I say a little shy. All he does is smirk and raise an eyebrow.

I swear something is going on with me. Why am I feeling this way?!

I ask myself and the he says something that's make me blush madly: "Why you blushing? Nervous? Never had a good looking man help you with math" he whispers in my ear and I shiver at this and blush hard and I look away. He just chuckles and gets back to his work.

What the hell is he doing to me?...
