We entered a room and I sat on the comfy chair waiting for him to finish setting everything up.

"Sooo, stranger what's your name?" Of course I already knew his name but I wanted to break the silence.

"Lucian." Okay then. I'll just try again.

"Hi Lucian, I'm Amelia but you can call me Ami because well that's what everyone calls me an-"

"Lia." Oh.

"Sure, you can call me Lia if you want but don't go around telling people I let you have that privilege because people would get jealous and jealousy is not the best policy-" Woah. Lucian had turned around and I was starstruck.

Before, all I could see was his muscled back so I assumed he would be attractive but what I didn't expect was for him to be drop-dead gorgeous.

He had messy, brown "I just got out of bed" hair and piercing green eyes with tanned skin and a cute beauty mark just under his right eye. He was also very muscular and with his 6'5 height, had large veiny hands. Hot.

He had tattoos going around his arms and neck with a few on his hands, the most prominent one being a tattoo of the skeleton on his hand.

His hands were decorated with rings and a silver chain bracelet with a matching chain necklace and he was wearing a simple black tee with grey sweats and white airforces.

I felt his eyes on me too and I started to squirm, feeing uncomfortable because I didn't know if he liked what he was seeing or if he was judging me. That wouldn't be very nice.

"...S-so do you want me to show you the designs I want? I'm gonna do it anyways because I mean I have to so it doesn't really matter if you wanted me to do it or not y'kno-."

I forced myself to shut up and take my phone out to show him the designs I chose.

"Any colours?" He looked at me, waiting for an answer so I quickly made up my mind and told him I wanted the butterflies in red and the rest in the usual colour.

Without another word, he began to draw the designs onto some paper which I was guessing was the template for the tattoo.

He then took out some cotton balls and a bottle of soapy water before dabbing it onto my skin to clean the area, he did it onto my wrist so I assumed he was going to start with the butterflies tattoo.

He placed the paper onto my wrist, letting it sit there for a bit before carefully peeling it off and making sure my skin is completely dry.

After cleaning all the equipment and grabbing the two ink colours he began on the design and I decided to ask some questions hoping to distract myself from the awaiting pain.

"How long have you been doing tattoos?"

"6 years."

"Wow that's a long time! You must've done amazing designs on previous customers."

"You're my first."

"Wait... You're telling me you've never tattooed on a customer before but you've been a tattoo artist for 6 years." I didn't believe him, it just isn't possible.

He didn't answer me, so I let it go and instead looked around.

In the middle of the room there's a massive black leather chair, which I'm currently sitting on, a small desk with drawers for the tattoo artists with a chair and many pictures of designs that others have done.

After looking around the room, I glanced at Lucian and saw that he was almost done with the first tattoo. Yay. For the next few minutes I just watched him, fascinated by how the ink smoothly embeds into my skin and how talented people have to be to do it properly with a steady hand and perfect accuracy.

When he was done he got some more cotton balls and gently dabbed at it with some tattoo ointment then wrapped it in clingfilm.

He then cleaned the next area and started on it. This one was the smiley face on the middle finger. I had ran out of things to do or look at to distract my mind and Lucian didn't seem like the type of person who liked talking much.

I stared at the wall and zoned out but was taken back to reality when I felt a sharp pain on my finger, "Ouch." I really wanted to rub my finger to ease the pain but I knew that if I did I could mess up the design.

Shockingly, Lucian gently rubbed his thumb on mine as a way of soothing the pain. He also decided to start talking again.

"It usually hurts here because the skin is thinner so it's more sensitive, sorry."

"It's okay, it was just a shock and I don't feel any pain anymore so we're all good." I put my thumbs up using my free hand.

After that, the room went back to being silent with the only sound coming from the tattoo gun.

My eyes were starting to slowly close, sleep trying to overcome me but I resisted because there was no way I was going to fall asleep while getting tattooed. That's just embarrassing.

It seemed that Lucian caught onto my internal conflict, "Sleep, I'll wake you up when I'm done."

Well then, you don't need to tell me twice. Not even 10 seconds later I finally allowed myself to doze off.
