i awoke to trish missing from the bed. i didn't think anything of it because she probably left to go to the bathroom. after a while of tossing and turning i realized that she hadn't come back.
i got nervous that she left, or something. i made my way downstairs irritated that she may have left without saying goodbye.
but no matter where i looked i couldn't find her. the only thing i found was a sticky note on my kitchen refrigerator. that wrote..
"family emergency; see you later :)"
oh wow. that's so believable.
I went back to my room, and sighed at her scent lingering inside my room. i hated this feeling.
i guess there's only one of two things to do at this point. i grabbed my phone and called kyra, we haven't talked in a minute. and you know you real friends if y'all can go days without talking...
(because idk we all have lives to live 🙄)
..and still hold me down. y'all probably thinking yes they are definitely friend goals. and you would be right if i we hadn't...
"hey.."
"yea hey, kyra i known i been distant lately, i swear it wasn't on purpose. i just been.."
"it's all good ma, but chu coming over or nah. because i can make some.. *coughs* arrangements."
"uh, yeah i was thinking we should smoke, i ain't done that in a while. i need you to help me get my mind off of something's."
"anything for you..."

anyway, i grabbed my towel and head into the bathroom. i got somewhere to go right now.
