After being totally humiliated I left the party. Great way to spend my last night walking home alone on the streets of Virginia. As I walked closer to my house I went to my back yard and sat down under the tree and looked out to the pond. The moon shined so bright it lit up my the whole pond. As I started to snooze off I heard footsteps. "Brandy?" I heard from behind me. Suddenly an arm tapped my shoulder, It was Jack. "Jeez Jack you scared me!" I said while slapping him across the shoulder. "Why did you leave the party?"
"I got tired."
"Hmm when does Brandy ever leave a party early..?"
He was right, this move was messing with my mind. "You know B I'm really gunna miss you." He said putting his arm around me. This was one of those scenes you would see on tumblr, a guy and a girl sitting together with the moon shining on them. Jack slowly started to inch closer and closer to me and then he kissed me.
"Jack wait."
"I thought you wanted me to"
"I do, but...I really need a friend in my life right now."
"It was just a kiss Brandy.... I just thought ide tell you how I felt before you leave but you obviously don't feel the same way." Jack got up and up the hill and got into his car. I felt so bad, I did feel the same way but I just couldn't say it. I ran inside and logged onto my computer to look and see if he was online. Nothing.
I waited and waited for Jack to come online so I could apologize he never did so I just went to bed.
"Brandy cmon its time to go!" My mom said knocking on my door so hard she probably left a dent. I slowly rolled out of bed and put on my outfit for the plane which was black leggings a black with white striped sweater, Nike Roshe runs, with a light blue beanie, Then put my hair in a messy braid. I still had makeup on my face from crying with Harper last night on the phone it was sad we couldn't say goodbye in person but she had to leave on a church retreat. I finished packing the rest of my stuff in boxes and my mom put it in the u haul truck. We said are final goodbyes to the house and then drove away. That was it. My life was about to change completely.
