It would be a lie to say that this world wasn't overwhelming for Cale. She was used to seeing and traveling with horses, yet this thing that Lee Soohyuk called a car didn't seem to be fueled by mana or magic stones. The car didn't use animal labor as well. Strange but still not the most surprising shock she'd endured since her arrival. But it definitely did something to persuade her chaotic thoughts that she was indeed far away from home. All the same, the very concept of a car was bizarre and unpleasant in some indescribable way.

Although she kept her confident gaze and pose in front of Soohyuk, she would lie if she said this weird world didn't put her on the edge.

The silence remained between the two of them. Lee Soohyuk couldn't help but glance at the noblewoman next to him. She looked and held herself straight and full of confidence. It was something he always appreciated in people. The ability to adapt was something needed in his workplace. You never knew when something unexpected could happen, and more often than not, Soohyuk had to adapt his plans accordingly.

She'd clearly endured more than one shock and yet she hardly blinked an eyelash at the new form of transportation after asking for an explanation and she remained absolutely composed as she watched the scenery pass by.

Soohyuk had to wonder if it was the nobility in her that made her so effortlessly elegant even while sitting still or if it was a trait all Cale's own.

The man parked himself and said while offering a confident and reliable smile. "We've arrived."

"Fucking finally." Cale complained while leaving the car. The 'seatbelt' felt uncomfortable, and the carriage of sorts felt far too stuffy. It wasn't something she was used to. She looked around and found herself surrounded by other cars. "So where are we supposed to go?"

She asked fussily. This place was beginning to piss her off. There were unfamiliar noises and smells and sights all around and she truthfully hadn't fully adapted to the situation internally. She was just gritting her teeth and concealing her thoughts. At least that much came naturally to her.

"The building over there." Thankfully, this stupid man was quick to uptake. The building was huge, but she could see a lot of clothes displayed. She started walking, ready to get this done-

She was abruptly pulled back by her hand. Her head hit something soft. "What?!"

She saw the car passing the road at high speed. She realized what almost happened. The world became a little blurry as she felt herself shake. What the fuck.

She took a deep breath, to calm down. She was still alive and well. She felt shaky anger build up inside of her, how stupid and rattled had she allowed herself to become to miss the cues around her? The fear and anger snowballed further and in some small terrible way, she felt ready to break–

"You need to be more careful in the future." Soohyuk said in a calm and steady voice as he placed a hand on top of her shoulder. Cale took a deep breath and calmed down. It was going to be a fucking disaster.

She didn't know what to think about how easily he'd comforted her. How easily he'd assuaged the spiraling emotions. Yet his voice was grounding and the feeling of his warmth was strangely comforting.

Soohyuk held Cale's hand gently and slowly crossed the road. The pair slowly walked towards the shopping mall in front of them. There was quite a big number of people. The villainess was able to pinpoint the weird sense of fashion they had.

While the men's clothing style was similar to the Roowon kingdom's, the women wore completely different things. Unlike in Roowon where the long dresses and covering up was part of everyday etiquette, Cale noted that a lot of female's wore male clothes. In the shop windows, she could see a lot of revealing clothes.
