After the first time, Beam spent a couple of nights a week at Payu's house. The more time she spent with him, the more comfortable she became. She never knew it could feel like this. That being with someone could feel so easy. That she could be so happy.
It was Saturday morning and Beam had woken up before Payu. This was unusual so she took the chance to just look at him. Every time she saw him, Beam was astounded by her boyfriend's beauty. It was dangerous to be so attractive.
Beam reached up and moved a strand of hair that was covering his face. Despite their rough start, Payu had proved himself to be as thoughtful and kind as he was handsome. She didn't know what she had done to deserve such a man.
She gazed at Payu for a little longer before lying down, resting her head on his chest, and cuddling up to him. She felt him stir, and a moment later, a hand was stroking her head. Beam smiled as his arms held her. If only she could stay here, wrapped up in his arms forever.
"Morning."
Beam peeked up at Payu, not wanting to move from her comfortable position.
"Morning, Phi."
Payu smiled down at her. He liked waking up to her. She was so cute in the mornings. Well, he thought she was cute all the time, but especially when she was in his bed.
"Did you sleep well?"
"I always sleep well with you."
Beam hid her face before she had even finished the sentence. The remnants of sleep were affecting her filter. She hadn't meant to say that out loud.
Suddenly she found herself on her back, Payu hovering above her. Resting his weight on one arm, the other hand came up and stroked her cheek.
"You don't need to hide from me or be embarrassed. I like hearing your inner thoughts. Okay?"
Beam nodded and Payu leaned in for a kiss. When he pulled away her heart was pounding. This position caused her to daydream. What if she were a little braver? What if she pulled Payu back down? What if her hands explored under the material of his pyjamas? But none of that happened.
"I'm going to work out and then we can have breakfast?"
"Sounds good."
With a final peck, Payu moved off the bed and went into the bathroom. Beam took a few minutes to have a freak out and then calm down. She had a feeling that Payu was waiting for her to make a move, not wanting to cross a line.
When Payu came out, Beam let her eyes follow him as he changed into his workout gear, or rather changed his shorts and remove his top. Her mouth went dry as she watched him stretch his arms above his head. She missed his smirk.
After he had left the room, Beam pulled the covers over her head. Everything was so new and overwhelming with Payu. He made her feel things she had never experienced before. Sometimes she didn't know what was happening.
After a few minutes of hiding, she decided to get up and shower. Her collection of clothes at Payu's had grown from the items he had bought for her as she brought and left her own clothes from home.
Payu's home gym wasn't connected to the main building, so she couldn't easy spy of him. Instead, she decided to cook breakfast. However, she didn't want it to go cold, and this gave her the perfect excuse to go see Payu.
The sight that met her as she looked through the window made her cheeks warm. Who knew a back could be so sexy? It wasn't until Payu finished his set that Beam realised she was about to be caught staring. She quickly opened the door, knocking as she did so.
