𝐑𝐔𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀, her arm wrapped around the taller girl's waist as they waited for carlos to arrive. the entire drama club was in salt lake slices, carlos texting the group chat saying that they needed to have an emergency meeting. ricky and remy stood next to each other, watching as gina and rue interacted with one another. it's been a week since the start of spring break, and a few days since ricky had came home. and during those few days, ricky had noticed how closer rue and gina had gotten. and they were definitely more flirty.
"there you are." ej's voice rang out, making everyone turn to look at him before they followed his gaze to carlos, who had just came in.
"we all got your text." gina added.
"you guys. mother is freaking out." carlos informed, looking around at the drama club. "it's about the menkies. is everyone sitting down?"
"no." ej mumbled while big red and rue slowly sat down in some seats. gina pulled the shorter girl back up, a smile on her face.
"we can't win." carlos announced, making everyone make noises of disagreement. "listen, there's math involved. if we don't sweep the technical achievement awards, we don't have a chance. and, no offense, ricky, but. . ."
