Hello, my Colorful Creatures! Welcome to the first cycle of CCC. I am so psyched for this! Is anyone else?!
So, a few questions have been asked (all by myself), so I decided to do a little questionnaire before announcing the pairs.
1. What happens if participants forget to tag the host on their ending review? Well, I have decided that, in addition to the tagging, each participant should send an inline comment next to their own name once they're done in this format: Done with chapter {chapter(s) you read} of {book you're reading} by {tag the author}.
2. What will happen if a participant runs out of chapters to read? We will get to that when it actually happens. For now, just PM me if you run out of chapters to read and inform me if you are unable to update chapters so I can figure something out.
3. Should participants be able to choose their partner? So, this is how things will work: You will have the same partner for the first two weeks and after that, you must decide whether you would like to stay with your partner or not. I will keep rotating the people who do not have a permanent partner until they find one. If you decide you want to stay with someone after the first cycle, please inform me. The same goes for if you don't want to stay with that partner after the first cycle.
4. What if one partner's chapter is much shorter than the others? You and your partner will have to communicate with each other if this is the case. Some conclusions could be that they will read two of your chapters and you will only read one or you can keep it as is. You guys will have to figure that out through PM and inform me after your decision is made.
5. Can participants choose how many chapters they read each week? If you would like to read more than 1 chapter each week, then you are more than welcome as long as your partner agrees and you follow the constructive comments rules. The minimum chapters you must read is one.
6. What happens if my partner finished my book before theirs? Refer to question #2. It is the same answer as this.
