Hyunsuk's eyes widened when he saw Jihoon, he didn't even know what to do. He legs were glued to the floor, he felt his hand trembling.

He couldn't hear anything as he immediately got hit with a massive headache. He clutched his ears in pain, he saw Jihoon worriedly calling his name but he couldn't hear him

He closed his eyes and immediately, an image of when Jihoon's death was announced came to his mind, he remembered when he was admitted to the Mental care because of his mental health

He had stayed for years there severally telling them Jihoon was still alive but no one paid attention to him, he tighted his eyes shut and flinched when he felt someone hold both his arms

He remembered when the nurses harshly put him in a non-movement outfit, being locked up in a room all by himself, constantly muttering that Jihoon was alive...

He slowly opened his eyes to see Jihoon shaking him by his arms as he called his name "..-suk Hyunsuk! What's wrong?"

He slowly looked around and saw that he was still in the grocery store, he saw other customers weirdly looking at him, the cashier looking at him in a confused manner, his eyes landed back to Jihoon

His heart immediately started beating.. He kept looking into Jihoon's eyes not wanting to look away, he slowly let go of his ears and hesitantly poked Jihoon's shoulder and closed his eyes immediately

He opened his eyes and saw Jihoon looking at his(Hyunsuk) finger on his shoulder

That was when he looked at Jihoon again,  tears welling up in his eyes "J-Jihoon..it's r-really you" he said making Jihoon smile and hug Jim

"Yes yes it's me" "T-They told me..they told me..y-you were d-dead Ji"

Jihoon leaned out and looked at Hyunsuk's tear stained face. Immediately the denial he had been going on about came to an end

He hasn't seen Hyunsuk for about ten years. Suddenly seeing him brought back memories he couldn't forget, Hyunsuk was basically his soulmate

He felt his heart change in a sudden way, in a familiar way to be exact. His heart began to race in a way it used to when he was with Hyunsuk in the past. The familiar feeling then was pleasurable in the past but now...

Jihoon couldn't help but feel that the feeling is wrong and shouldn't happen..

Jihoon shook his head slightly getting rid of his thoughts. He saw Gabriela looking at him. He looked back at Hyunsuk who was looking at him like his life depended on it

Jihoon removed his hands from Hyunsuk's arms and grabbed the grocery bags.
"Let's go baby" he said to Gabriela.

"Good having seen you Hyunsuk" Jihoon said and patted Hyunsuk's shoulder before walking out with Gabriela

'It's better I don't get too close, I might catch feelings and that's bad considering I'm engaged' Jihoon said in his mind as he got into his car with Gabriela

Hyunsuk was still standing there shocked. He was still trying to process what had just happened.

The person he had been longing to see for over a decade, whom he had just seen, left without trying to patch things up?

He bitterly chuckled and brushed his hair back as he felt a tear escape his eye

"My hallucinations are getting a hold of me"
He said knowing well it wasn't a hallucination

Asahi got home feeling very tired, he showered and immediately plopped to his bed with his face buried in the pillow

Asahi's phone harshly rang, Asahi ended the call without looking at the caller ID

The phone rang again, Asahi groaned and answered the call

"Hello-

"MAMA!!!" Asahi shrieked and flinched on his bed when he heard the very loud voice

He moved the phone away from his ear for some seconds after recognizing the voice

"Jaemin?"

"Yes Mama" Jaemin said and giggled. Asahi was shocked because he didn't expect the kid to remember his number even after two days

"Who's phone are you calling with?" Asahi asked looking at the wall clock, it was already Eleven and it was way past bedtime for a kid

"Dada..he sleep now" Jaemin said and giggled "Mama..I take pointy...I biggggg now" Jaemin said making Asahi smile

"Really? Good boy, yes you're a big boy now" Asahi said making Jaemin giggle loudly

"Mama I want see you, I come see you" Jaemin said in a lower tone

"Jaemin, don't go anywhere without Dada okay? Wait for me I'll see you" Asahi said even though he knew the odds of seeing him were very low

"Mama I go take pointy..uhh no more school..." Jaemin said and Asahi got confused trying to understand him

'No more school? No more- oh after school'

"Okay then Min I'll see you tomorrow, now keep Dada's phone and sleep well okay?"

"Yes Mama, I sleep now.. I LOVE YOU!!!!" Jaemin said and started making kissing sounds

Asahi chuckled "mm I love youuu, byeee" Asahi said and smiled as he ended the call
