Getting her girl

         Regina was scrolling aimlessly on TikTok 
When she got a call from Storybrooke maternity hospital claiming that a baby girl was just born and is in need of a home, and when looking for permanent placements they saw that she was a potential adoptee. Regina agreed to be there within the hour and was thanking the social worker and all the nurses. Regina then called her parents and told them the news.
Ring Ring Ring " Hello Regina dear, how are you?"
"Oh I'm fantastic mother" Regina starts crying but Cora can tell it's with joy
"What's got you so excited dear?"
"Oh nothing... just that they have a little baby girl waiting for me to bring her home from the hospital, she was born today and they chose me to be her momma"
Henry Sr. popped in as Cora had her phone on speaker and replied with "Oh that's wonderful news sweetheart" "That truly is my dear is there anything me and your father can do?" "Just please come here and help me finish setting up my little nursery please mother, please daddy!" "Oh our sweet girl of course" replied Cora

Cora and Henry Sr. made there way to Regina's ranch style home

And saw Regina struggling to put the infant seat in her car

Cora and Henry got out of the car and walked up to Regina, "Here hun let me" said Henry "ok daddy" after Henry got the seat situated they made their way inside to Regina's bedroom where her baby girl will also be staying until she's old enough to sleep on her own

"So,Regina do you have a picture of my grandbaby?" "Yea mother, they sent me one via email after the call was over, she's so freaking cute" "let us see, let us see"Regina pulled her phone out of her pocket and pulled up her photos

Cora started to cry happy tears in turn making Regina cry and Henry look at his girls gushing over his granddaughter with love in his heart
"Oh Regina dear, she's absolutely gorgeous, show your father" Regina turns the phone to her father  "Isn't she just precious daddy?" "Oh yes baby girl she's a little doll"
After setting up the bassinet and bouncer/swing hybrid

And picking out a coming home outfit

Regina said her goodbyes to her parents as they stayed back at Regina's to finish up and wait for their daughter to return home with their precious grandbaby

         Regina pulls into a parking spot and goes to the front desk "Hello, I just got a call about an hour ago about a baby girl being born, she's to be placed in my care." "Can I get your name please?" "Regina Maria Mills, aged 24, birthday is July 15th,1997" "Ok,which wrist would you like your I.D bracelet on?" "My left please" " Ok follow me" Regina looks up as the nurse gets up and presses the button to open the doors to the baby ward, as she's walking down the long winding hallway she just starts smiling "Alright this is little misses room" Says the nurse, Regina sees her name is Ruby Lucas "Thank you so much Nurse Lucas" "Oh hun just call me Ruby I'm a baby nurse and like to use my first name around the littles makes it less scary you know" Regina smiles and looks down at the sleeping baby girl "So have you chosen a name for her?she can't be called baby girl forever" "her name is Emma" "Oh,isn't that just precious, she's a doll, how are you feeling about this all?"Regina looked back, even more ecstatic and still fingering the soft hat. "Emma, I'm your mommy baby" Emma cooed "She's seems happy with that" Regina regarded Emma's beautiful fingers and pink toes. "I feel the same way!"  Regina said with a soft smile
