Louis' POV:
As Dr. Williams begins speaking, I lean forward so that I can listen to every word that he has to say. I already know that what he has to say will be dreadfully horrible because it involves that bastard of a man I almost killed. Dr. Williams takes a deep breath, breaking me out of my thoughts and begins to speak.
"I'm going to start off by warning you both now, this story has some very graphic details." I gulp, knowing that I don't want to hear this, but I know that I have to. "It all started more than ten years ago. Amanda was just a five year old girl who was supposed to live a life full of happiness and bliss. I was her pediatrician back then. Well one evening, after another typical day here at the hospital, I was about to leave work when I saw a gurney being rushed through the emergency room doors. And when I looked at who was laying on it, I saw little Amanda lying on it unconscious.
"I immediately ran over to ask her mother what had happened. She was crying while she tried to speak to me, and she said, My husband, he's a monster! I came home from work to find him beating her, and. . . raping her. She whispered the last part. I told her that I would be sure that her Amanda got the best of treatment and care this hospital had. And after I had Amanda lightly sedated and stable to let her pain subside, I went to my office and called the police department.
"I told them her home address, and to send a few policemen. I said that there was a man there who raped and beat his own daughter. I stayed on the line until the officers arrived at her house. They arrested him on the spot, and took him to the local jailhouse. His court date was set to be on June 10, 2003. I was at the courthouse on the day of his trial. The trial only lasted for a few hours because it didn't take long for the jury to come up with a verdict, with such substantial evidence as the hospital records from the day of the atrocities he committed. He was convicted, and sentenced to fifteen years prison. However, he managed to escape during one of the worst prison riots of the decade a few months later.
"After his escape, he went back to his family, and killed his wife for letting him get arrested. After that, he took Amanda out of the house, and burned it down. He was gone with little Amanda before the police and firemen arrived. After that, every time he did anything to Amanda, I was notified, because before her mother's death, I was appointed to be Amanda's legal guardian if anything happened to her. I would always call Amanda to be sure that she was fine, and wasn't hurt as badly as the first time.
"Well one evening, I received a phone call from Amanda. She had called me begging for me to get her away from her father, because he was drunk and trying to stab her and rape her again in front of his drunken friends. She was only seven years old at the time. I once again called the police to arrest her father, and left my house to confront Amanda's father and take her away from him.
"When I arrived at her house, I got out of my car and stormed towards the front door. I kicked the front door in, and stomped over to her father. As soon as I got to him, I began beating the living shit out of him and saying, How do you like getting the shit beat out of you? After I had him pinned to the ground, I yelled for Amanda to go get in my car until the police arrived. They were there a few short minutes later. They put handcuffs on him and took to the police cruiser, and as they were doing that, I went outside and got Amanda out of my car.
"I told her that the policemen needed to ask her a few questions before they took her father away for good. They asked her what had happened and if he had hurt her in any way, and if he had to show them where he hurt her. She first pointed to her stomach and her head. Then when they asked if he had hurt her anywhere else, she pointed to her private areas. The policemen said that was all the proof they needed, and left to put her father in jail for what I thought would be permanent.
