Walking was tortuous, thinking about home was worse, it was agonizing just thinking about seeing my mom again.
We've been walking for probably an hour and a half, only an hour to go.
"Okay, I need to take a break." Jason says.
"Wimp." I say jokingly.
"Oh haha, my feet kill." He say taking off his shoes so he could massage them.
"Okay I guess we'll take a break."
"Thank the lord!" He yelled.
I just rolled my eyes at him, I can't wait to get back home, so I'm not wanting to teak to many breaks.
~~~~~~~~~One Hour Later~~~~~~~
We finally reached the border of our city, as we looked at each other I smiled, I got this sudden burst of energy.
"Come on!" I say sprinting towards where my house was, my house, I can say that again!
We ran faster than I have ever ran before, before I knew it we were in front of the high school.
"I never thought I'd say that I missed school, ever." I tell Jason.
"Yeah."
"Well come one were almost there."
"I'm going to see my family, I'll meet you at your house later okay?"
"Okay."
I ran so quickly I couldn't even feel my feet underneath me. My breaths were quick but my feet were faster.
I had to see my mom again, I had to.
I finally found my street and I went down.
94, 96, 98, 100, 102, here it is 104.
I slowly knock on the door.
The door slowly creaked open.
"Mom?"
