Golden boots clacked loudly on the rubble, the owner of them running on the demolished path, his light blonde hair swaying in the wind as he had an evidently panicked look on his face, scanning the area.

He shouted something and continued running. It seemed like an endless path. The Knight Commander didn't know what he was doing, he didn't know where he was. He just had to get away.

A creature lunged at him, digging it's teeth into the blonde's shoulder as he yelped and fell to the ground, dropping his sword.

'Oh dear Divines, please save me..' The man thought to himself, trying to get the attacker off.

He started bleeding as he grunted in pain, clawing at the monster's back, but it was no use. The monster was so huge and he couldn't reach his sword, trying to strike it with his light magic but it seemed to not be affected as the attacks weren't powerful. He closed his eyes and accepted his fate.

Red Velvet emerged. But.. He seemed to have.. A bit of unobvious guilt plastered on his face, yet the man noticed. Cake hounds seemed to come in and they started to bite and pull at his long hair.

''ARGH-!!'' His breathing quickened as he winced and shouted in pain, it hurt. It hurt so bad. The cake hound owner took the man's sword and left, as the creatures and cake hounds kept hurting him, the Knight Commander passing out. He felt betrayed. The Divines did not save him.

He woke up in a new place, everything in a dazed blur. Everyone had turned away from him. He perked up when he saw Espresso and ran over to him, but the other man walked away. Everyone was ignoring him as he shouted and followed.

He tripped over a rock and fell to the ground, watching helplessly as everyone left him.

Is this it?

'Is this what I deserved..? What have I done so wrong, my dear Espresso? Please, Divines.. a sign. Atleast something. Why does everyone hate me? I.. I felt so loved, appreciated and looked up to, yet now..'

He squeezed his eyes shut.

It seemed like he was falling endlessly and endlessly, people watching him and surrounding him. The only time he has felt uncomfortable with staring, eyes staring daggers into his soul. He felt like he was getting stabbed in the chest over, over and over again. It won't stop.

''It's all your fault, Madeleine.''

''It's all your fault, Madeleine.''

He kept screaming at the voices to stop, but they only continued, overwhelming him. He blacked out after a bit, senses overflooding him.

''Madeleine?''

He opened his eyes, everything blurry as he grew dizzy. Espresso stood infront of him, he panicked and started breathing heavily, acting in impulse as he shoved the man away and crawled under the blanket.

''Stop, stop, stopstopstop-'' Madeleine choked out, shoving his face into the mattress.

''Madeleine..'' Espresso frowned a bit, touching him. The man gasped and Espresso retracted his hand quickly upon that reaction.
