School was finished for the day, and I had successfully made it through all my classes.

I was on Cloud Nine because Calum had talked to me a little more in our chemistry class. I, of course, was too shy to reply much, but it was still a dream.

As I made my way to my car; an old, beat up Toyota, I heard a familiar voice call behind me.

"Heaven? Heaven!"

I turned around to see Calum jog up to me with a piece of paper in his hand.

"I think you dropped this," he said, panting a little and brushing a bit of hair out of his eyes.

"Oh! Um, thanks," I mumbled, extremely shy.

"I won't bite," chuckled Calum.

I blushed, and gave him a little smile.

"Well, I'll see you later, partner," he said, giving a wave and a wink.

I timidly waved back, walked to my car, and excitedly unfolded the paper. Why? My bag was zippered tightly so I couldn't have dropped anything.

On the paper, a name and number were scrawled in boyish handwriting next to a message that read, "Text me?"

I silently squealed, and refolded the paper, dialing April on my phone.

"Hello?" she answered after a couple of rings.

"Hey! Where did you disappear to?" I asked.

"I just left with Claire. Why?" she questioned.

"I'll pick you up! I. Have. News." I stated.

"Oooh! Okay, we're just a few blocks away. See you in a minute," she replied, hanging up.

I turned on my car, the engine coughing a few times before starting. I drove down the street leading to our school and a few moments later, found April and Claire waiting on the sidewalk, waving at me.

As soon as I pulled over, they opened the doors and hopped in.

"Tell us everything! Does this have to do with Calum? Did he ask you OUT?!?" they rambled, clambering into their seats.

"Calm DOWN. He didn't ask me out. But he did give me a note that said 'text me' with his number," I said casually.

I clapped my hands over my ears as April and Claire shrieked in excitement.

"This calls for a girls' afternoon!" declared April. "Frozen yogurt on me!"

"I just met him today! Why are you guys freaking out?!" I ask with a laugh.

"Because you two are made for each other," Claire stated dramatically, clutching her hands on her chest for effect.

That's Claire for you.

I laughed, pulling back onto the road.

"You guys are the best."

"We know," they said in unison.

I know that was short, but I'm doing a double update! Yay ;P
