[The scene moves to show the whole cabin 11, about 20 of them moving out into the commons year. They all lined up in order seniority, Percy and Amara was at the back.
Campers came out of other cabins, too except for three empty cabins at the end, and cabin 8, which had looked normal in daytime, but was now starting to glow silver as the sun went down]
Artemis smiles at her cabin.
[The campers marched up the hill to the mess hall pavilion. Satyrs joined them from the meadows. Nadia's emerged from the canoeing lake. a few other girls came from the woods]
"That's cool" Many breathed in awe
[At the pavilion, torches blazed around the marble columns. A central fire burned in a bronze brazier the size of a bathtub. Each cabin had its own table, covered in white cloth trimmed in purple. Four of the tables were empty, but cabin elevens was way too overcrowded. Percy had to squeeze half of his but on the edge of the bench. Amara came our to next to Percy looking at some people with a glare]
Amara: Move up, or I'll make you.
[People moved up the bench quickly pushing someone off at the other end. She made her self comfortable next to Percy who had a little more room]
Light chuckles passed through the hall.
[Grover was sitting at table twelve with Mr D, a few satyrs, and a couple of plump blond boys who looked just like Mr D. Chiron stood to one side, the picnic table being way too small for a centaur. Annabeth sat at table six with a bunch of serious looking athletic kids, all with her grey eyes and honey-blond hair]
"Well they look a cheerful bunch" Theo remarked sarcastically.
Percy and Amara both snorted as Athena and Annabeth were quite offended making it more amusing to the pair.
[Chiron pounded his hoof against the marble floor of the pavilion, and everybody fell silent. He raised a glass]
Chiron: To the gods!
Camper: To the Gods
[Wood nymphs came forwards with platters of food: Grapes, apples, strawberries, cheese, fresh bread, and a barbecue. Percy looked down at his empty glass]
Luke: Speak to it, Whatever yo want-non alcoholic of course
Percy and the strolls snickered. Not when you have Amara Potter as your sister of course.
Percy: Cherry coke
[The glass filled with cherry coke]
Percy: Blue cherry coke
[The colour of the liquid changed to blue. He cautiously took a sip, as Amara watched some what amused]
Sally smiled at her son lovingly at the blue cherry coke.
Luke: Here you go, Percy [Handing him a platter of smoked brisket]
[He loaded his plate, and when he was about to take a bite Amara nudged him and nodded towards where everybody was getting up, carring their plates towards the fire in the center of the pavilion]
Amara: Come on P.
[As they got closer, they saw that everyone was taking a portion of their meal, and dropping it into the fire]
Luke: Burnt offering for the gods, They like the smell [He murmured to the pair]
Percy: You're kidding! [Amara snorted quietly]
The Gods shrugged. It does smell nice.
[Luke approached the fire, bowed his head and tossed in a cluster of red grapes]
Luke: Hermes
[Percy approached next but looked in deep thought, brows slightly in a frown]
Amara: Close you eyes, take a deep breathe, and let the name or names come naturally too you
[Percy nodded and done what she said, but the names were so quite it could not be heard]
Those who were Percy's offering smiled slightly.
[Amara approached next, the camera came in closer as she said it quietly so no one else heard]
Amara: Poseidon, Hecate, Hades, Apollo, Hermes
The Gods smiled at the screen.
"Why them" Yelena asked curiously, tilting her head like a puppy like she did when she was a child.
"Poseidon's my dad" She whispered to her first, giving her a cheeky wink as their Mama and papa looked at the pair fondly "Hecate because I'm part of the wizarding world, Hades because his the king of the underworld, and I have a lot of loved ones who have died, Hermes because I was staying in his cabin, and Apollo just felt right"
Apollo beamed at Amara, even before they met, she still felt connected to him.
[When everybody had returned to their seats and finished eating their meals, Chiron pounded his hoof again to gain everyone's attention. Mr D with a big sigh, got up]
Mr D: Yes, I suppose i'd better say hello to all you brats. Well, hello. Our activities director, Chiron, says the next capture the flag is Friday. Cabin five presently holds the laurels
[Cabin five, which is Ares cabin, cheered]
Ares smiles smugly.
Mr D: Personally, I couldn't careless, but congratulations. Also, I should tell you that we have two new campers to introduce today. Peter Johnson and Annie Potts
The demi gods snigged while Percy huffed and Amara rolled her eyes.
[Chiron murmured something to Mr D]
Mr D: Err, Percy Jackson and Amara Potter. That's right. Hurrah, and all that. Now run along to your silly campfire. Go on.
[Everyone cheered. they all headed down towards the amphitheatre, Where Apollo's cabin lead a sing-along. Everyone but Amara sang camp songs about the gods and ate s'mores and joked around]
[Amara looked like as if she was remembering a fond memory as she watched a younger girl with blonde hair and a slightly older one with brown dancing around together, Slight tears in her eyes before she quickly blinked them away]
"Were you okay?" Sally asked the girl she has grown to see her own.
"Yeah" She sniffles with a smile, wiping away stray tears "Memories"
"Emotions suck" Yelena laughs tearfully which Amara joins her with, clearly they were thinking the same memory as their Mama and Papa look at the pair with a loving smile.
[As it got later in the evening, when the sparks from the campfire were curing into a starry night, a conch horn blew again, and all the campers filled back into their cabins]
