[Man is shown leaning up against the side of the building, wearing a black suit, sunglasses looking down at his phone. Amara on her motorbike pulls up in front of him, taking off her helmet when she parks. He looks up, taking off his glasses to revel James]
"Its me" James cheers as if he has done a great achievement much to the spies amusement.
James: It's your 3 weeks off but I can still see your working [He says finding it all humours]
Amara snorts... When does she actually get time off
[She shakes her head laughing, before pulling him into a hug]
Amara: Can't seem to catch a break [She mutters to him with a eye roll]
[She throws him the keys and helmet, as he starts making his way to her bike]
James: Clean up crew is on standby, with an cover story of you all ready [Amara nods as she listens. James now sat on the bike] And please, for the love of Gods don't blow up a building.
"Well" Percy and Amara draw out earning any raised brows.
Fury just groans.
Amara: No promises [She tells him with a laugh] Oh and get them articles taken down about Percy will you? He thinks I don't know about it but its me [She asks]
Percy flushes, realising his sister always knew.
[He nods his head at her, before pulling off. Amara turns and walks in the other direction]
[Amara met the group at Greyhound Station om the upper east side. Argus made sure the group all got their bus tickets, before driving off. Grover shoulder his backpack, As he gazed down the street where Percy was looking]
Grover: You want to know why she married him, Percy?
Percy: Were you reading my mind or something?
Grover: Just emotions [He shrugged] Guess I forgot to tell you satyrs can do that. You were thinking about your mom and your stepdad, right? [Percy nodded] Your mom married Gabe for you, you call him 'smelly', but you've got no idea. The guy has this aura... Yuck. I can smell him from here. I can smell traces of him on you, and you haven't been near him for a week.
"I bet that made him feel, so much better"
Percy: Thanks. Where's the nearest shower?
Grover: You should be grateful, Percy. Your stepfather smell so repulsively human he could mask the presence of any demigod. As soon as I took a whiff inside his Camaro, I know. Gabe has been covering your scent for years. If you hadn't lived with him every summer, you probably would of been found by a monster a long time ago. Your mom stayed with him to protect you. She was a smart Lady. She must've loved you a lot to put up with that guy if that makes you feel any better.
Many people look at Sally in admiration as she flushes with the attention.
Percy's beams at his mother, grateful for all she does for him.
[Percy looked in deep though. Amara placed her hand on his shoulder, giving it a soft squeeze making him look at her. She didn't need to say anything, they both knew that. But the smile and nod she gave him showed him that she will always be there for him, standing by his side. And that was all he needed. He might of lost his mom, but he had his little sister]
Poseidon smiles at his children on the screen.
[Rain kept coming down. They got restless waiting for the bus and they decided to play some Hacky sack with one of Grover apples. Well everyone but Amara, who even due to the rain and clouds, had her sunglasses on, she was looking around at the people and shops while the rest played their game]
