4. Officer Wang starts liking Mondays - Part two

Note: the following events take place after the interrogation and before the 7pm Dinner.

"Do you think this is the correct address?"

It was still early morning, and the sun wasn't fully up yet. Officer Wang Yi Bo doubtfully looked out of his car at the rundown building in the middle of one of the city's slums. The facade was brittle, some windows were broken, and garbage was lying around as wide as eyes could see.

"That's what the guy we've arrested told us. And I am confident he told the truth when we did your police officer thingy," Agent Xiao Zhan answered, fully convinced. 

"Our…police officer thingy?" Wang Yi Bo turned to look incredulously at his partner, who sat relaxed and handsomely on the passenger seat, shades on, hands crossed behind his head and a slight smile on his lips. Surely drool-worthy….but…

This newly bastard boyfriend of his had the audacity to still look fresh like morning dew while he didn't even dare to look into a mirror after being awake now for more than 24 hours. On top of that, his and Xiao Zhan's three-hour-car-exercising made him even more tired and sitting on the hard wooden chairs in the interrogation rooms was a challenge by itself. Not to forget about his lost bet. By now, he was very sure that the bastard tricked him. Something kept telling him that he sold himself to the devil…

It itched in his hands to punch that annoyingly… beautiful… sexy smile out of that Idiot's face.

But yeah, he couldn't help but stare.

Which, of course, didn't go unnoticed by Xiao Zhan.

"Do you like what you see?" Smirking, he took off his shades and looked deeply into Wang Yi Bo's eyes.

"Who likes looking at you?" Wang Yi Bo huffed, annoyed, and turned his face to the window again. A slight blush appeared on his cheeks.

Xiao Zhan shook his head with a light chuckle. "No need to be embarrassed, baby. You can stare as long as you want, I don't mind. Aaand…" He pulled Wang Yi Bo's hand to his chest and pressed it onto his shirt. "...You can touch as much as you like. All yours." Smiling sultrily, he let both of their joined hands slide down.

Wang Yi Bo withdrew his hand aa if being burned, looking upsetly at the now laughing Xiao Zhan.

"Would you please, for once, keep your hands to yourself and focus on the job? This time, I swear, your junior stays in your pants! Understood?! And stop babying me!" He snapped at his Idiot, his face flushing with embarrassment.

"Whatever you say, baby."

"XIAO Z…"

"Oh, by the way, while you were busy admiring my handsomeness, two men with big suitcases entered the building. We should follow them, don't you think?" The Agent interrupted the angry Officer.

"What? Why didn't you say so right away?? How are we supposed to find them now?" Wang Yi Bo was on the verge of storming out of the car when a strong hand held him back.

"Wait a moment, baby. You don't know what's waiting inside that building. We should wait for reinforcement and then act cautiously."

Wang Yi Bo rolled his eyes, annoyed, because his Agent was right. "That's the first reasonable thing that came out of your mouth recently."

"I know, I am smart. And you know, my mouth is capable of many things," he snickered and signalled the hidden team members to meet at the building's entrance.

Wang Yi Bo sighed with frustration. "Why do you always have to be so…?" He trailed off, silenced by a hand on his nape and a pair of lips that briefly but firmly pressed against his own.
