"Where did you go last night, Kat?" Theo asked me after I walked into the kitchen, heading for the coffee. My eyes feeling heavy after a shitty night sleep again.

"What do you mean? I was right there waiting for you," I replied, pouring myself a cup of coffee. I turned to Theo, seeing the look on his face. His eyebrow raised as he takes a sip from his cup.

"Bullshit. Liz told me you were waiting for me and when I came out to see you, you were gone. Then, I saw you coming out the men's bathroom before you went and left."

He narrowed his eyes and leant against the kitchen counter, waiting for me to fill him in. He always had a way of worming things out of me. He knew when I was lying, or in this case, not telling him the whole truth.

"Who was he?" Theo asked as I took a sip from my cup, avoiding making eye contact with him.

"It doesn't matter. It's never going to happen again."

"Ooh, so something did happen? How was it?"

I put my cup down on the counter and look up at him. His eyes making him look like a puppy as he pleads for me to tell him.

"Come on. Let me live vicariously through you. I want all the details," he practically begged.

I chuckled at the look on my cousin's face. We've always been close, since we were younger and I was the only one who stayed in contact with him after his family disowned him. He's my best friend.

"This very attractive man used a pick up line on me. A very cheesy one and I was up for some fun so I met him in the men's bathroom. It was fucking hot, Theo. He took me from behind and fuck, I've never felt like that before," I finally answered him, remembering last nights events and Eddie.

"I wish someone would take me from behind in the men's bathroom. So, who was he?" Theo asked again. He wasn't going to let this go, was he?

"Like I said, doesn't matter. Did you manage to find me a dealer in Hawkins?"

"Yeah, he's nice and also hot so, maybe he could be your next fuck, Kat "

"I'm not going to have sex with someone I'm buying drugs from, Theo."

"Alright, if you say so. Any nightmares last night? Or are you feeling better?"

I know Theo doesn't like me doing drugs to deal with my issues. But it's the only way I can escape from the constant battle in my head. The only way to make the back and forth in my head, stop for a while. To stop thinking about the shit that gives me the nightmares.

Theo cared about me and wanted the best for me, but the only way he could help was by helping me locate a dealer. Drugs were the only things that kept the nightmares at bay.

"I'm still having them," I replied, remembering the one from last night. My throat tightening as the familiar feeling in my gut returned.

"You know you can talk to me about them," Theo offered. "About what happened."

"I'm not ready to talk about what happened, Theo. I don't want to be reminded. I just want to forget."

I clutched the note Theo gave me, to my chest as I looked up at the trailer infront of me. Theo didn't know his number, just his address. I just hoped he was as nice as Theo said he was. I didn't fancy getting kidnapped and killed tonight.

I just needed something to help me sleep. Nothing strong. Just something to stop the flashes, the memories coming to the surface. When I closed my eyes, all I could see was the same thing that haunts my nightmares.
