You once called me pretty
I never heard that one before
It was a whole new word to me
And I guess after that I wanted moreWe hug and that’s it
We’re friends so I let it sit
Maybe it was a mistake when you let it slip
Maybe all I heard was a blipBut it rocked my world
I was balanced and you ripped it at the seams
Now I have to wait while I watch it unfold
Although I really wish you could’ve seen
The damage it caused...You once called me pretty
That’s all I remember now
I see you differently
Can we still be friends now?
