In the sea of words was where,
I lost my heart drowned out the wailing concerns,
the screeching shrieks of avians branded on dead trees
while I fell deeper and deeper into my doom,
scalding finger grip, grasp and pull in every direction,
torn to shreds, burnt in the fleshIn the sea of slurs, my head swung and swerved
my own screams dulled, lulled and hushed
by the taunting cackles from the burning skulls,
as they bound me to my shackles
