chapter 7

The day was here and joey and my brother left out early to get joey’s brother truck, I woke up to go downstairs and grabbed a cup of coffee my sister ran downstairs and screamed ”it’s your big day are you more excited than I am”
“yes, my big day is here and we need to get ready and when you get home”

“don’t you think it’s too early to be getting ready and around 12”

“yeah but we still have to go pick up our dresses, call the makeup girls and still go get our shoes with little time, so we need to go and we still have to go pick up cleo and my aunt, so let’s go”. I ran upstairs to go wake cleo up and I grabbed my keys and we went to go pick my aunt up. We ran in and got our dresses and ran back out, while we was going to get our shoes, I called the girls to be at my house around 3 o’clock, it was already 11 o’clock and time was going fast, we stop to get breakfast and went to get our shoes, it took longer than usually cause they had to find my aunt size, we finish there and headed back to my place to get ready, but my aunt had to stop and grab six big bags of candy to fill the take home bags. She took two minutes to come out, but she had more than candy in her hands, she had candy,balloons, keychains,candles, gift cards, and at my house she had over 200 tickets to any place in the united states. We hurried back to my house and we finish getting ready.

My aunt, cleo and my sister took my car and went to the church and started to get the stuff ready and get the names sorted out, I was scared and I was happy. I  was happy because I was marrying someone who I really love, even though it was rough at the start, we got through it and I’m scared cause I don’t know if the man is going to strike now or later, but I stop thinking about that and I started to get dress for my big day. My bride minds were helping me into the limo and we were heading to the church, when we were pulling up my auntie was getting everyone settle in the church, we walked into the church owner house and we finish getting ready.

We finished getting dress and my auntie ran in and told the brides minds to go get in place and then she ran back in a minute later and ask me “are you ready for the biggest day of your life”, tears started to come down my eyes cause I didn’t have no one to walk me down the eye, so my aunt asked my brother to do it. We started to walk into the church I started to see my family cry, we was at the end of the walk way and my brother let me go and then everyone in the church started to get text message from their phone saying “is one life more important than 100 lives”, it all stop for a minute and my brother looked at me, we couldn’t continue since so many people was scared but we did it anyways, we finish the ceremony and we walked to the limo, joey opened the door and he saw something and he pushed me backwards and all I heard was a big boom. The whole limo blow up everyone was recording and screaming and saying call 911, joey was just lying on the ground with no movement, the ambulance and the police came and they just told us “just continue with your day and we are going to be keeping an eye out”, my aunt screamed at them saying“how the hell our we going to finish the biggest day of my niece life, after her limo that she could have been inside just blow up in her husband face”

“ma’am we need you to calm down the police are going to be there the whole bridal party”one of the officer said, so we went to the bridal shower and we had fun and we forgot all about what happened, joey brothers and his mother went to the hospital to sit with him. The sun started to set  and we started to clean up and two men started to walk up to my sister and started to talk to her then 2 minutes later they started to grab her arm roughly and her boyfriend walked from cleaning up the tables and he walked towards them and they started fighting and one of the men pulled out a gun and started to shot out him, they shot him in his arm and leg and they started running with the police hit one of them with their car and the other one kept running, the police got out the car and let four big dogs out and they started to run after him, I was still shocked but I don’t know why since I knew something like this was going to happen but I didn’t understand why it had to happen today. The two men were caught but they kept screaming, "there’s three more of us on the way and the last one you won’t see coming”, but I wasn’t worried I had six bodygurads with me everyday, my sister, aunt, brother and his girlfriend all got two bodyguards to look after them “you really think your big bodyguards can stop us”the man said. I knew it was going to to be a lot of money but thank god I had plenty of money saved up in my bank account, so much money it could last me for 20 years, even though I don’t plan on living that long. I watched the two men be put inside the police car and they both were looking at me, I hated that we was going through this right now, when we was all just getting together after we all separated, but I plan on getting all this sorted out when joey get out of the hospital.
