I knew you were destined for something big.

Don't ask me how do I know,

I just...do.

It was the season of blossom. Different hues lined up on the path as he sauntered on it. They wilted, but new blooms took their place. It was a continuous inevitable cycle and nothing seemed too beautiful than witnessing that happen in front of your own very eyes.

Strands of his hair seemed to hear the song of the wind and follow it as his eyes curled up into waned moons after seeing such a pleasant sight. His fingers behind him twitched from time to time but he didn't think it was a major thing. He ignored his intuition and walked slowly towards where his heart led him to— the pond.

As usual, the pond was hidden beneath all the petals as shades of pink and orange covered the whole water body. Even the small bridge over it seemed to shy away from him. He stepped onto the wooden passage and there was where he saw her for the first time.

Discreetly stealing petals from the ground, the oblivious figure didn't seem to take notice of the keen pair of eyes intently staring at her movements. All she was focused on was taking the delicate petals back home where she could show them to her sick sister. Obviously, her father won't be that proud of her but it's her mischiefs that brought a little laughter into the monotone house. God, it has been so long since it bloomed in her house.

So long that the little buds of hopes were withering away gradually.

"Who are you?"

Her finger froze as she tried to hide the almost-full basket away from the intruder. She had been caught but in her defence, she wasn't doing something illegal. Only picking up already dead petals from the ground that don't even belong to the garden. Slowly, she turned towards the source of the voice and a soft gasp escaped her lips.

"No-No one important, I shall take my leave now." She hastily bowed and dashed away from there, not even giving him the slightest of chance to take a peek at her face. Prince or a commoner, she'd be in great trouble if she had been caught.

Because the garden belonged to the royal family.

"Hey!" He tried to chase her but another voice perked up behind him, stopping him from acting out on his impulses.

"His Majesty is waiting for you, Your Highness." A servant interrupted.

He simply nodded his head in defeat at the servant and began to walk away with him. Of course, not before giving the now-deserted place a last glance as the palace gates closed behind him, shutting off his probably the first and the last chance to see her.

Taehyung jolted from the bed. The sudden movement caused his head to throb causing him to clutch his head and squint his eyes. He felt like his vision was focusing in and out and he was unable to focus on a single thing except that he saw one thing everywhere. It was faint but he swore he saw it all over his room but it was gone when he blinked.

Cherry blossoms.

Taehyung thought maybe he saw it all around his room because of his previous dream but that still doesn't justify the fact that what was the dream about? It felt oddly real and he could feel the perspective of the unknown man to his bones and somehow he had a very subtle sense of Déjà Vu.
