*Hi guys. just a little A/N before you start reading. To my dear readers, if you do read and enjoy my works please just drop a like and comment. this really keeps me going and sometimes makes my day, not only for me but for other authors too. even if the story is a year old or something a like or comment is still great and i really appreciate it.*

*The bold, italic words are the lyrics of song. I highly recommend to hear it before reading to get the feel you know haha*

My father taught me home is where the hurt is
So I built a fortress, where I lived alone
He said ships were never meant to have a harbor
So I've worn this armor, I've fought and flown

Arthit was sitting in the balcony hearing Tyler Blackburn's would you come home from the series Rosewell New Mexico and he couldnt help but think how those lyrics fits his situation so well. He would say its a fantastic song, one of his favourites. It might not be a popular one but then again some not so famous movies, songs and series are the best ones. What's the word? Yeah underrated. But that is not what we were talking about! He can actually write those explanation of the stanzas like we wrote of the poems like daffodils, the road not taken etc etc in middle or high schools. Arthit have never thought that his life would turn like this. Arthit never had a quiet life. His father was the leader of one of the most powerful underworld mafia gang he was known as the lucifer of the underworld. Arthit was beaten, tortured, shot, starved and more in that house which he called home all his life back then. They were done to make arthit a real man to prepare him to be the next leader.

Arthit would say it went harsh on him when his mother finally gave up on his father when he was like 4 or something and was about to left him ofcourse she didnt see another day. He never dared to be close to anyone because once he did to his maid nancy she was a sweet lady in her 30s she fulfilled the role of his mother and when his father noticed he killed her and when arthit was heartbroken and complained to his father he was replied with, "people and relationships holds you back".

Then a year later when arthit got himself a dog his dad was quiet about it as he said dogs are loyal and protect their owners but when arthit almost got hit by a car in the process of saving his dog... arthit never saw his puppy again. Arthit knew he shouldnt have. After that he closed himself off to anyone and everyone. He built walls around his heart to protect it. He hated his dad with passion but... he still was his dad. Arthit had encountered several deaths already been forced to shoot at some too. He would keep his brave facade then go to room and cry his heart out in the confine of his rooms. He still remembers his dad beat the hell outta him when he cried his heart out after shooting a drug dealer. So that's how little arthit's life went untill high school; Cold, devoid of any affection, lonely and bitter.

I was raised a soldier
Put my weapons down to hold you
Is a kiss an act of war

I just tried to keep you warm
Even though I couldn't stay
No you never looked away
Now I can't look away

Arthit's first day in highschool was anything but ordinary. I mean common the most handsome and well beautiful boy with a cold look and presumably loner and that too a rumor of being rich and dangerous he was practically the popular guy even before he said a word. He took his seat in the back most bench of the class he just sighed hearing the rumors about himself but he knows the rules now no friend, no affection, no connection.

"Hi my name is..." a guy said setting his bag in the bench.

"I did not ask" arthit replied without even looking at the boy. The bench was unfortunately 2 seater and arthit has to share which he doesnt want to.
