I made a few changes in previous chapter to align it with this part of the story but you can proceed anywas its just a line or two.

"huh?" aim shouted hearing arthit's request? uh... order? parley? okay whatever.

"what?" artit asked nonchalantly

"i mean NO!" aim said with finality.

"what?" arthit asked coldly clearly unimpressed when said no. well he is not used to no.

"i mean...i cant let my friend to suffer on the hands of a playboy like you, for your 2 days act. i cant let you play his emotions and the dump him just as soon and all because i want to keep my job you know what i quit!" aim said standing up suddenly a surge of bravery hitting him. actually no it was his way to pay back all that kong had done for him. if it wasnt for kong he would not have made out of high school let alone be out of friend zone or even face the interview to get that job position, he owes a lot to kong and if this is the way he can repay then be it so.

"true friends eh? now now sit down first." arthit said calmly.

"no" aim said and arthit stood and walked to aim whispering something in aim's ears which led aim to  widen his eyes and gape at arthit like a fish.

"you wont open your mouth about this to him. understood?" arthit asked in a serious voice and aim nodded.

"what changed?"

"nothing...maybe something" arthit said smiling at aim which send shivers down aim's spine.

"so what do you say? its a double win your friend wont be single anymore and wont disturb you on your dates with sweet may and you get to keep your job with 2 percent increase in salary and i wont make as you call devious plans to disturb all your lives" aim paled at this words. he and his coworkers call arthit the devil and him firing or making someone's life hell as his devious plans but how the hell did he knew it.

"i...i..." aim started

"time is ticking khun aim and you know i am not going to let it go either way. so tick tock tick tock" arthit said smirking.

aim felt like his head was going to blow up. one could hear the pressure cooker sound going off.

"FINE" aim gritted through his teeth.

"good now tell me his address and his dislikes in flowers." arthit said smiling sweetly as if he hadnt  just blackmailed the other guy

"cj lane 0062" aim again gritted his teeth. "and why dislikes?" aim asked frowning what  is the other planning?

" i want to make a statement so..." arthit said prompting the other to speak

"red roses. he says its cliche and overrated and he doesnt like it" aim said shrugging

"great. now go back to work" arthit said and aim started leaving.

"remember the  deal. not a word." aim gave a nod and rushed out before the devil... i mean his boss starts planning something more devious... i mean evil...sorry i mean clever...ughhhh.

kong was jumpy today. he remembers the first time he had met arthit it was in his sophomore year and arthit was in in his senior year. kong has seen arthit as the captain of his school, commanding them in mass drills or just you know ordering them around. kong has always known he had something for the narcissist of a senior but he couldnt name it well he was still figuring it out so...

a real push was given to him when he had to share his seat with arthit in an exam. the seat was a double seater and each seat had one sophomore and one senior to prevent cheating. arthit had helped him in one question he was stuck with yeah total cringe but a dim light bulb went on kong's head but not near enough to have his light bulb moment. that was the first day of the exam, from the next exams kong would come as soon as the bell rang pushing his fellow classmate and wait on his seat for arthit to come. they would talk about movies, studies and bad mouth their teachers and friends and system in general they would even help each other to get answers from their fellow classmate and no they wouldnt call it cheating cause you know no cheat's involved. its just verbal and they are 'conforming' well whatever gets them through the day. and that's how 5 days of his exams went and kong would be lying if he said he hates exams now.
