this is a wee bit lengthy because i have
Roleplay Trauma ™️ so it's alright to
skim through a bit, just get the basics & the
password !

part one | general
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

. be kind to yourself, and to others. don't beat yourself up if
you make a minor slip up and do not mistreat others.
bigotry of any kind is not allowed! all of my characters are lgbt and
most are POC and i love seeing characters that are the same -
if you're 'not comfortable' with girl x girl, boy x boy, trans/nb people
etc then don't bother

. this is a scenario based rp.
all of my ocs are kept in a separate book. if you look through
it and you see someone you like/want to see in a specific
plot you can comment and let me know (ie: "i really like [name], can
we use them here?"), but if not i will use who i think is most fitting
for the scenario.

. do not cross rp threads without explicit permission! it's
kind of rude lol. if you'd like a group rp then ask and we can
discuss it but don't spring it on anyone.

. dm or comment rp is fine! just let me know what you
prefer. i do prefer comments but i'm not against dms. however
you cannot get around any rules by doing an rp in dms.
do not dm me for rp if your sole intention is to ask me for smut.

. censor swears as per usual so comments don't get flagged. i
am sometimes okay with nsfw in dms, however
smut is not allowed if you are a minor!!! not even if it's
implied! please. i am an adult and not only is that super gross it
is literally illegal. if i believe you aren't old enough for it
and things are dipping into that territory i will jump over it
completely.

. you can tag me, both for forms and for responses!
just don't be excessive with it if you do rag and let me know
if you're going to tag for a character.

. i do not rp straight ships. i'm sorry i just don't. i elaborate
in a rule further down!

part two | roleplay
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

this is a literate roleplay.
not 'one or two semi detailed sentences' literate, i mean 'paragraphical, story format' literate. i expect at least a small paragraph, but i love big, multi paragraph responses! examples of what i mean below;

INCORRECT

' they yawned, stretched, and got out of bed.'
'[character name] : *gets out of bed*'
'i yawned, stretched, and got out of my bed'

CORRECT

'[ name ] knew it was time to get out of bed when they no longer dipped in and out of sleep with ease, rather feeling like they were forcing their eyes shut to avoid the waking world. they laid in bed for minutes, longing to drift back off as they had before, but sleep's embrace had long let them go by that point. it took time before they could will themself out of their resting position and take on the world that was their bedroom for another day.

pulling themself upright, they lazily opened their eyes and dragged their gaze across their surroundings.
even though they had an uneventful night, they felt like they had only slept through half of it with their fitful rest. their room seemed to be a reflection of their disrupted slumber, too. very messy — clothes and bags and various junk that they never bothered with was strewn about like usual and was crushed under their feet as they swung their legs over the side of their bed to stand.

they'd clean it up... eventually... but that was a problem for future [ name ] to deal with. present [ name ] had to get ready for another day. '

responses can be longer or a bit shorter than this example; it's okay if you can't manage massive
responses but don't expect much if yours are lackluster and you give me nothing to work with. i generally give more
effort than i receive but if i'm basically rping with myself i will get bored fast

. don't control characters that aren't yours. unless it's your turn and
the scene is transitional or you are given permission for one reason or
another, there is no reason to make someone else's characters do anything. this includes
controlling pets or other things that your character doesn't own. password is your
favorite type of tree!

. do not try to force ships either! don't do anything to other people's
characters that you wouldn't want someone doing to yours. i am not
huge on oc ship rp w people i don't know well until there's been a good bit of roleplay/buildup
leading to them having feelings for one another or it's been discussed beforehand. so if romance is your
main goal here then i'm afraid you'll probably be disappointed.

. please use interesting characters! i know this is a lame
rule and we've all heard it before but that's how it is. no one wants
to deal with a character who has zero flaws and somehow knows
how to fix everyone's problems instantly / a character who's only
personality trait is how depressed they are. don't force angst randomly
into the roleplay and don't magically resolve every issue that crops up

. additionally, no using only straight female characters. this includes bicurious
girls/bi girls that you only put in relationships w cis dudes. just because
some of my characters are cis bi/pan men that doesn't mean i'm going
to woo your cishet lady oc with them lol i'm sorry but it has to be said.
i only do straight rp w my non fandom characters with people i know well/people i've approached
and even then i still pretty much only do lgbt+ relationships in roleplay.
idrc if you feel some type of way abt it. don't be a weirdo, respect my ocs' identities.

ik my rules may make me seem kinda scary but generally i'm pretty
chill and i'll only give small corrections here and there if you do
something wrong. and i'm more lenient on some rules than others,
i just want to make myself clear! regardless though if you
repeatedly break rules after i've corrected you repeatedly i'll either stop
replying to our rp or delete it outright. i do not do warnings.
