Amiliana's POV

I wake up and see a post it on the door.

"It is my barhdai!, signed Gio."

Oh my god it is his birthday. I run to the to Valentino's room shaking Him. He groans waking up "what what..." He rubs his eyes.

"It's Gio's birthday today! Hurry we have a lot to do!" I run around the room.

"Bambina, I have to go to work, I don't have time to celebrate a little boy's birthday." He complains.

I turn around, "Well then tell your workers you are not working today. You cannot miss the most important day of the year and plus this can show that your genuinely sorry for what you have done to the poor kid." I insist.

"I'm sorry but I cannot do that." He says going to the bathroom.

I roll my eyes and go to the birthday boy's room. I come up to the bed and shake Gio. He wakes up rubbing his eyes still tired.  "Wake up birthday boy! Today is going to be a long day."

I pick him up heading to the bathroom to freshen him up. I specifically got him giraffe themed clothes because he is always holding his giraffe stuffed toy.

"So if there is anywhere you would like to go, tell me. So, where would you like to go first?"

"Hm..." he thinks, "Lego land!" He jumps. I excepted that. The kid has Lego toys everywhere. "Alright let me get ready and we'll go. Go have some breakfast. The cooks made you something special." I tickle him. He laughs running to the kitchen. He's so adorable.

I walk back to my room putting on something simple. It's too hot. I wore some high waist shorts with a yellow crop top. I walk to Valentino's room who seems to be tightening his tie. "Me and Gio are heading to the plaza mall. We'll be back later."

"Wearing that? Who are you impressing?" He looks up and down at me.

"Myself. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to celebrate a birthday which is worth missing one day of work." I walk off.

"Oh come on, Amiliana! I'm working to provide for this house and you and Gio!"

"Wow. Your really gonna use that shit against me. As if I naturally let myself in this house? If I am one of reasons you have to work more, then simply get me a one way ticket to New York, and I'll be off your feathers."

"Alright you know what, this is a discussion for another day." he gives up. He takes out his wallet, handing me a black card."

"I don't need it." I refuse, giving him back the card. "I'm gonna pay for it."

"No I want to pay for it. The least I can do is pay for his stuff."

"Fine. I still think you should come." I shrug taking the card. He sighs going back to fixing his tie.

I enter Valentino's office leaving his card on his laptop. I genuinely don't need it. I head out to get Gio so we can get going. "Gio come on lets go."

We walk to the basement where the underground garage is. "Ok so which car would you like to use?" I point to the cars.

"Um the black one!" He points to the Black Mercedes Benz. He is just like his uncle. Everything black. We go inside, taking the keys and I lock him in his car seat so we can get going.

The drive was a good one hour away according to google maps. So, I got him snacks on the way while he was focused on his roblox. We arrive to the mall and walk- well, Gio was skipping.

We go to Legoland and I sit down as he's running around getting the toys he wants. After a few minutes, I get up to look for Gio. I never knew a toy store could be so huge.

I start looking around to catch him explaining a little girl his age who seems very curious about giraffes. Aww that's so cute!

"Gio, do you have the toys you want?" I ask interrupting their little lesson.

"Yes." He says sadly.

"What's wrong honey? Why are you sad hm" I ask concerned.

"This is my friend Lily. I have to leave her." He starts tearing up.

"Aww it's ok. Don't cry." I turn to the little girl who's looking down with watery eyes. "Hi sweetie don't cry. Where is your parent?" She looks up and turns to a white man(?) who is sitting down watching on his phone.

I take both of the kids by their hands and walk to the man who I am guessing is the girl's father. Well I think father.

"Hi." I get his attention.

"Hello?" He says confused in a rich Russian accent.

"um why are you holding my child's hand?" He asks awkwardly.

I let go. "Oh um sorry." I laugh. He laughs putting Lily on his leg. "I was just wondering if you wanted to exchange numbers for the kids. They seemed to be getting along and when I tried to separate them, they got sad so..."

"Are you flirting with me in front of the kids?" He smirks interrupting me.

"No no! I swear. They just don't want to leave eachother so maybe we can contact to set up a play date for them." I laugh.

"Ok. Here's my number." We exchange numbers and say our goodbyes.

After a few more stores and shopping, we arrive in the house holding bags and boxes of literally everything. The doorbell rings and I run to the door for one more surprise.

"Gio! I have something else for you come here!" He runs to the door and screams with excitement as he sees a literal baby giraffe. It took time to book a day with this animal but it was worth it.

The next thing that came was a giraffe themed birthday cake. They go inside the house to put the cake in the kitchen while Gio was hugging and talking to the giraffe.

The gates open again. Hm I didn't order anything else. I see cars lined up by the house. Valentino gets out of it stunned seeing Gio playing with a live animal. The guards looked confused as I started laughing at their reactions.

"You actually got a real giraffe." Valentino comes up to me surprised.

"Of course. You should see his room. He got this jumbo giraffe stuffed toy like it is as high as the ceiling." I pat his chest.

"Now I really regret not coming." He laughs.

"You should." I say. "I'm going to change. I need something more comfortable. Oh and I saw my card on my laptop. Next time, don't do that again. I'm serious." He says unraveling his tie. I snicker as he leaves.

After 2 hours of no stop playing with Gio and Giraffe. The animal has to leave. "But why can't we keep it." Gio whines.

"Because it takes a lot of space and time to take care of a giraffe. Maybe when you get older, you can open a zoo." I tell him as he smiles from the idea.

He says his goodbyes to the giraffe. We then sing happy birthday, eat our cake and watch Minions, the rising of Gru as an ending. Throughout the middle of the movie, we drifted to sleep exhausted from such a long day of fun.
