Sweet Revenge.~ Chapter Five

The voices screamed and chattered. They cheered me on.

YES YES MORE GIVE US MORE I was overstimulated. In a good way, the feeling of power and excitement rushed through me. My rush was interrupted by a sharp piercing pain in my abdomen. Suddenly, the voices stopped cheering. The world around me started spinning. I gasp as whatever just stabbed me was pulled out swiftly, causing a secondary set of stings and aches.

I flip onto my back and look up and see a sword, dripping with blood. My blood. And the person responsible for my wound. Saphora.

"I TOLD YOU TO STAY THERE YOU CAN'T EVEN DO THAT!"

They bring their axe down with a bigger force than I expected, rewarding me with a gash on my left eye. Blood spilled out of my eye as I screamed in pain.

"YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO OUR BLOODLINE!" I screamed.

They smiled down at me and got down on their knees.

"Ira.." They said in a soft tone and chuckled.

"You are scum beneath my foot.." They finished.

Any unborn tears became born at that moment. Tears and blood streamed down my face.

"we-" I hiccuped. "we were a team..."

"were."

I sobbed. Saphora stood up again. They took their axe out again and brought it down. Everything went black.

I woke up in a small room with a fireplace to heat it up. I tried to turn.

"ow!" Everything started to hurt. There was a bandage on my left eye.

Upon me exclaiming, a person emerged from the other room. They had battle scars all over their face and newly replaced bandages on their hands. They smirked.

"you're awake.."

I wanted to get up and run. Infact that's what I was about to do, but I physically couldn't

"yeah.." I say cautiously.

"I'm Zero" They say while fixing their bandages. "and you're.."

"Ira"

"right. Saphora's sibling. They stabbed you if you weren't aware.."

Memeories immediately came back to me.

"yeah.." I reply.

"yeah..well that sucks doesn't it?" They say quickly.

"why did you help me? I don't even know you"

They stared at me and we were both quiet for a minute. Zero grinned.

"I can help you get revenge"
