Clouds are my happy space. I can just focus on them, their colors, their shapes, everything. It calms me down the most in life, besides maybe George, but he's got a competition with clouds. Ever since I was little, I'd always admire the clouds. Maybe it was my adhd, but they satisfy me.
When they are pink, or a bright yellow, it makes me extra happy. I love when they have color behind them from the sunshine. Dark grey clouds make me feel sad, but they still satisfy me and calm me, brings a smile when I know it's going to rain.
White clouds are my favorite though, their colors pressed against the bright blue sky just compliments everything so nicely.
"You okay Dream?" George asked me, snapping me out of my trance, I looked to my side, he was sitting up against the flowers and grass looking at me nervously. I nodded. "You weren't answering me." He said. I looked back up at the clouds and smiled. I could feel his smile staring at me.
"They are turning orange." I said. George scooted closer and laid his head on my shoulder. I had my arms around my knees, my fingers gripping each other as my legs were slightly spread. "Haven't seen orange ones in a while." I said. "How do they make you feel?" George asked.
I shrugged. I can never truly tell how orange clouds make me feel, it's strange really.
"I'm not sure." I answered honestly. George hummed. "They make me feel happy and energetic." George said. I chuckled. "Yellow clouds make me feel happy and energetic. They are peaceful." I said. "No, white clouds make you feel like that." He said, looking up at me. I smiled.
"You sure do know me well, Davidson." I said. He seemed shocked at me referring to him as his last name. "Davidson?" He said. I chuckled. "Don't ever call me that again, Clay." He said. I pushed him off me and rolled on top of him, my hands propped on either side of his head.
A big, teethy smile crept onto his face, confusing me. "Why are you smiling so big?" I asked. He hid his face, which was obviously turning red. I quickly rolled off and laid down next to him, staring up at the clouds as the sky grew brighter and the clouds became more yellow.
"The color of the clouds shining behind you make you look so fucking-" George started, his voice a slight mumble. I turned my head to him, I grabbed his hands and pulled them away from his face. I smiled and let go, laying back.
"Yellow clouds are fucking gorgeous." I said, interrupting the awkward silence. Suddenly, George rolled closer to me, I turned my head. Our noses almost touching.
"Just like you." I said, a smile on my face. George groaned and rolled his head to the other side. I chuckled and stared back up at the clouds. Suddenly, he rolled on top of me, his hands rested against my chest. The wind lightly blowing his short brunette hair.
The yellow clouds reflected off him, his face slightly glowing a golden, and behind him was so bright it almost blocked him out. I couldn't keep the smile off my face. "God damn." I said, letting out a slight chuckle as I covered my face.
He grabbed my hands and pulled them away from my face. I stared up at his eyes, the sparkle in his eyes was unrealistic. "See!" He shouted at me. I couldn't take my eyes off him though. I physically could not.
He noticed and snapped his fingers at me. "Dream?" He said. I blinked to let him know I was there. He furrowed his brows and chuckled. I reached my hand up and cupped his cheek, he immediately leaned into my touch, but looked at me confused.
My eyes bouncing from his eyes to his lips, over and over. I didn't stop until he realized what I was wanting. He slowly leaned down toward my face, my breath slightly hitched and I took a shaky breath before our lips brushed.
Our lips slowly connected, we both took deep breaths in through our noses as we collided. We slowly and carefully, but slightly roughly, made out.
When we disconnected, we remained silent, staring at each other. I couldn't get how gorgeous the view was, from both the clouds and the boy on top of me. I chuckled as I slightly wiped my bottom lip.
"Your lips taste sweet." I laughed. He let out a laugh and hugged me. I couldn't help but continue to smile brightly, staring at the clouds.
"I'm happy.."
I freaking adore clouds, I've always been fascinated by the sky, even the night sky, clouds and stars are my favorite! Ever since my cousin died, me and my aunt always send each other pictures of clouds, we have a cloud obsession
