This is very short but sweet
George laid under his covers, coughing and sneezing. He felt like absolute shit. He wanted to kick the sheets, throw himself around as if it were his bodies fault for getting so sick. He hated having a sore throat, it hurt to speak, it hurt to cough, it hurt to do anything.
He was stuck in his shared bed with a growing attitude. He frustrated at many things, especially the fact that he had promised to stream with his friend Nick. Though unfortunately, after a late night he got sick and now was trapped under the covers.
Patches, his cat, curled up at his feet. At least he had some company. He could hear his lover down the hall in his recording room. It was obvious that the door was open because if it were closed, George wouldn't be able to hear him as it was a sound proof room.
He let out a loud groan as he turned over onto his stomach, burying his face into the silky white pillows. He slightly lifted his head when he heard the bedroom door creaking open. However he was too exhausted to fully turn his head, he just planted back into the pillow with a sigh; which turned into a harsh cough.
"You doing alright babe?" A soft but deep voice emerged from the silence. George let out a groan before turning his head to look at the tall blond who stood at the foot at the bed with his arms crossed. "No." George finally replied, his eyes falling shut. Dream let out a huff. "You sound like at broken record." Dream said, stepping to George's side of the bed and sitting down on the edge.
George let out another cough as he opened his mouth to speak. Dream rubbed his back gently. "Do you need anything?" Dream asked. George shook his head and leaned against Dream's touch. "Are you burning up?" The blond asked, his hand trailing up into George's brown locks.
George fully turned his body to face Dream, now laying on his other side. George's eyes were closed but a small delicate smile on his lips. Dream ran his fingers through his hair. "Weren't you recording a video or something?" George asked, his voice raspy and cracked over every word. Dream chuckled lightly.
"I was, but I needed to make sure you were okay." He said, tilting his head to the side slightly. George let out a hum. "I'm sorry." George let out. "Sorry for what?" He asked. "You have been trying to record a new video and things keep getting in the way." George said. Dream pulled the strands of hair that laid on George's forehead up, revealing his forehead.
"You're literally the sweetest person." Dream said, placing a kiss on his forehead. "It's just a video George, I can record it any time." He said. "I have more important things to do." He said softly, running his thumb across George's cheek. "Like what?" George asked, his eyes slipping open. Dream chuckled. "Like taking care of my husband." He said, a gentle smile on his lips as he ran his fingers back up into George's hair.
"I'm in love with you." George chuckled, his eyes falling closed. "I know." Dream replied. "I love you." George whispered, bringing a smile to Dream's lips. "I love you." Dream replied in a whisper before moving the loose hair on George's forehead to the side and placed a kiss on his forehead again.
"Get some rest, you'll feel much better in the morning." Dream said before standing up.
