3,000 years ago, Y/N, princess of the Demon race had betrayed her own along with her older brother Meliodas, prince of the Demon race and started a Holy War. Although there was nothing Holy about it. Bloodshed was everywhere, and many were lost.
Wh...
"Please don't let it be true," I whispered in horror.

Y/N's POV
"Y/N, are you alright?" Gerheade questions me worryingly.
I snapped out of my daze and looked at Gerheade, who had a worried gaze on her face and was waiting for an answer from me, but when I went to respond, I was at a loss for words.
"I don't know," I said weakly, avoiding eye contact with her. "But what I do know is that you should stop worrying and go protect the Fairy King. Because we all know what's going to happen if he dies," I said firmly.
Gerheade nodded before flying off to help the Fairy King, while I had a different objective in mind. And that was to free Ban from Gerheade's magic.
"Now, as for him," I flew down to the human and readied my magic. "This better be worth it,"
But before I could do anything, a big gust of wind came crashing against my body causing me to lose balance, sending me flying.
I caught myself mid-air, and my eye widened at the state of the Sacred Tree. The Sacred Tree was destroyed.
"The Sacred Tree..." I breathed in horror.
My eye darted to the damaged Sacred Tree to see Jericho knocked unconscious and Ban hugging the sleeping fairy of the forest close to him, then darted to the ongoing battle.
My eye followed the battle. Seeing many fairies flying towards the Albion, they were lashed away as soon as anyone came close, buying Gerheade some time to get the current Fairy King to safety.
It seems like the Fairy race has finally gotten its spark back.
But it seems the current Fairy King had other plans.
I sensed great power rising by the second, which I found both intriguing and rising far above Albion's. Then, blowing the fairies away from him, the Fairy King summoned his Spirit Spear and drew out its true power, launching it straight at the Albion.
"So he's able to draw out its true power," I thought, smirking. "How impressive,"
Maybe I should start paying attention to the Fairy Kings in the future.
The fight had come to an end, the Fairy King defeating the Albion, while passing out in the process, which was most disappointing.
Panicked fairies tried to reach out to the Fairy King, but none succeeded in catching him. A deep sigh escaped me as I swooped in and caught him in time before he could hit the ground.
I looked at the passed-out fairy in my arms and sighed as he was beaten and covered in scratches.
Gerheade flew over to me and sighed in relief, seeing how I caught the Fairy King in time before he could reach the ground.
"Thank you, Y/n," Gerheade smiled at me.
"Let's get this over with," I muttered, flying back to the Sacred Tree.
"Sir Ban, please heal him!"

Cheers were heard from the center of the Sacred Tree as the Fairy King had finally woken up. Fairies surrounded him with praises for defeating the Albion while I watched from a distance, holding a firm glare.
"Wait, are they talking about me?" the Fairy King asked, confused.
"The only one who's meant to lead us is you, Harlequin," Gerheade praised the current Fairy King.
Something in me did not agree with the words Gerheade spoke, but at the same time, I knew those words rang true to an extent.
"S-Sir Ban? I just want to thank you with all my heart for saving the Fairy King and the Great Tree," Gerheade said nervously, avoiding eye contact with Ban. "Also I-"
Before Gerheade could get another word out, she was roughly picked up by her shirt. "Look, I don't care what you think of me or what you do to me!" Ban yelled at her. "But the next time you try to hurt Elaine, I won't hesitate to kill you!"
"I promise to protect Lady Elaine's body, no matter what," she said before she was roughly thrown to the ground.
"See you later," Ban walked to the exit of the Sacred Tree.
"Wait, Ban! I'm coming with you," Jericho rushed after him.
"Ban, wait!" the Fairy King yelled. "I'll ask you one more time. Are you really not coming back to the Seven Deadly Sins with me?"
Ban stopped in his tracks at the sudden question. "Tell them I said hi," was all he said before leaving.
The Human race is truly an odd race.

"The Seven Deadly Sins, huh?" I thought to myself as I continued to think about the group the Fairy King mentioned. "Never heard of them," I muttered to myself before smirking. "All the more reason to find out who they are,"
