Let's start you off with something a little less heavy.

"Yeah, the behavior SOPs are completed and I've got all the track change documents ready for the content team's review. All we're waiting on now is Bryan to approve and we can send the comms with the FAQs and Go Live dates."

Lori looks up from one of the four monitors in front of her at the sound of her office door opening. She smiles slightly as she sees Hayley's head poking in through the doors opening and motions for the girl to come all the way in. She raises a finger, silently asking the new addition to her office to wait as she turns her attention back to the screen. She leans back in her chair as she listens to the voice coming from her headset.

"That's fantastic Lori. I'm looking over the documents now and they're great. I added some final notes and I'd like to add the Ops team to this meeting so we can be sure they don't have any lingering questions. Do you have the bandwidth for that right now?" Mallory asked, causing Lori to frown slightly as she bit her lower lip in frustration. She glanced back up at Hayley, meeting her gaze with a silent apology even though the girl couldn't hear what had just been asked. She sighed internally as Hayley tilted her head to the side in silent question at Lori's mood change.

"Yeah Mallory, you can invite them in. I don't have anything else on my calendar for today." Lori said, not taking her eyes from the deep brown ones currently looking at her. She watched as realization dawned in those chocolate brown orbs as Hayley listened to her response.

"Great! I'll start adding them now!" Mallory said, completely oblivious to the disappointed tone dripping from Lori's words.

"Thanks Mal. Give me just a second, I'm going to mute while they join." Lori said, before clicking the button on her headset and turning her chair fully toward Hayley.

"I'm so sorry. I know this is the third time this week I've rescheduled our date. This project is almost done, but I know it's cut into a lot of our time an-" Lori's apology was cut short as the girl in front of her leaned over and silenced her with a chaste kiss.

"It's okay babe. Really. I know how much this project means to you. I'm so proud of you." Hayley whispered against Lori's lips, causing the seated woman to smile slightly. Lori slipped her hand around the back of Hayley's neck, pulling her in closer to kiss her again. She relished in the feel of Hayley's soft, full lips on hers. She could never really get enough of them.

When Hayley didn't immediately pull away, Lori nipped lightly at her lower lip, drawing a short gasp from the still standing woman. Lori used this as an advantage to deepen the kiss, her tongue dipping between them to flick lightly against Hayley's own. Hayley moaned softly into Lori's mouth as their tongues danced together, temporarily fighting for dominance before Hayley gave in, letting Lori take over. Both of them getting lost in the sensation.

"Hey team! Thanks for joining. Lori will be right back and we can get started. In the meantime, how's everyone's day been?" Mallory's voice through the headset broke through the desire induced fog clouding Lori's brain.

Lori's hand tightened slightly on the back of Hayley's neck as she forcibly tore her mouth away with a disappointed groan. They hadn't been intimate in so long. Her palpable desire for Hayley was almost painful. She just needed to get through this last bit and she'd be free. Hopefully in time before Hayley had to leave. She cleared her throat, releasing Hayley from her grasp as she delivered one last chaste kiss to the girl's now swollen lips.
