Chapter 26

bella's pov:

I woke up to my phone buzzing insanely on my night stand.I pick it up and see an unknown number.

*unkown:please take me
back*

*unkown: I still love
you*

*unkown: please! it was all a BIG mistake!*

I look hard at the number and remember that's matt's number.I type an answer and stare at the send button.I delete the message and delete his pleading messages for me to take him back.I brush it off and get up.Since it's monday, my mom and dad have work.Mikey,lee,and jeffrey had things to do,so I was alone.I always forget that they live here because I rarely see them.

It was August, and school started soon because it started earlier in California then in New York.I think it was a week away from starting and I was anything but ready for it.I got in the shower and got out within 20 minutes.

I blow dryed my hair straight and then loosely curled it with my wand.I put on cover up and mascara.I put on my high-wasted ripped shorts and my Los Angeles white tank top with my white high-top converse.I put my sunglasses on and grabbed my keys.I got my license!!I was old enough in California for one.I opened the door to find a puffy-eyed crying matt.

"Matt..?" I say

"bella, please take me back, I still love you," he begs.

"I can't take you back that ea-" I begin to say but get cut off by matt,

"bella, I messed up so bad, she kissed me first, and I wanted to get her off of me, but I couldn't...then when I saw you with cam.....i could help but get jealous, so I kissed her in front of you to get you mad..." I let him explain.

"why did you lie about unpacking then?" I ask "I lied because I wanted to plan a date for me and you on the beach, so I didn't want you to find out...." he says trailing off.It all makes sense now,i'm a horrible person.

"matt,i'm so sorry,i should've let you explain!" I say "it's okay, bella, will you be my girlfriend again?" he asks with hope in his eyes.

"of course," I sigh at myself for giving in to easily.
