This wasn't the first time Tae Su-Mi stopped her car in front of Woo Gwang Ho's restaurant. She'd been here numerous times ever since the day that Young Woo told her about her identity. It has been bothering her for a couple of weeks now how Young Woo seemed to accept and handle the abandonment issue. It wasn't what she expected because for all the years that she tried to forget about the daughter she neglected, she thought that the girl would have an incredible amount of hatred towards her.

The moment she held the baby Young Woo in her arms, she knew that she was making a mistake by giving her up but she was so young then and unsure of her future. She has responsibility to her family being the only heir of her father's empire. Everybody knew that she would be a great lawyer one day and having Young Woo will only be a stumbling block to her very promising career and future.

When Young Woo finally entered her father's restaurant after her work, that's her cue to leave the area. According to the private investigator whom she hired to follow the routine of her daughter, she found out that she's taking the subway and walking her way to their home. For someone with a disability like her, the world seemed to be a very dangerous place to live. But now she knows that Young Woo can defend herself by just using her wit.

"Atty. Tae Su Mi?" A male voice said as she rolled up her car window. When she looked around, she saw a young man about Young Woo's age looking curiously at her. "Are you here to meet Atty. Woo?"

"Jun-ho!" It was Young Woo's voice. "You left the file for tomorrow's hearing."

Su Mi's heart started pounding wildly and her breath caught in her throat. This is how she feels every time that Young Woo is around. There is also that ache in her heart seeing the daughter she never calls her own.

"Atty. Tae Su Mi?" She murmured when she finally recognized her. "Why are you here?"

It's the same question she'd asked her when she met her just before the confirmation hearing. "I was looking for a kimbap restaurant."

That answer was so lame but right now she can't think properly. It's a rare occasion that the great and mighty Atty. Tae Su Mi is toppled by the mere presence of a rookie attorney.

"My father is making kimbap. You should try it, it's the best in this area." Young Woo said with a hint of pride in her voice. Su Mi can't help but smile inwardly that Gwang Ho at least raised their daughter right. The man called Jun-ho is looking at her and Young Woo with confused expression. She bet that this is the co-worker that Atty. Kwon Min Woo was referring to.

The way Young Woo is acting really surprises her. It's as if nothing happened between them, no bad blood, no animosity, no negative treatment. It feels like they are old acquaintances but with no affinity towards each other. Left with no options, she got out of her car but not without instructing her driver. Jun-ho left after saying goodbye to Young Woo and politely bowing his head at her in an act of farewell.

When the two entered the restaurant, Woo Gwang Ho was talking to someone on the phone. But dropped it the instant his eyes met hers. Much like the first time they meet after a long time. "Woo Young Woo, what is the meaning of this?" He asked her daughter, alarmed, but without breaking eye contact with her. His voice is laced with undeniable anger and disbelief.

"She was outside and was looking for a kimbap and so I brought her here." Young Woo explained simply.

"I should get going. I suddenly felt like I don't want to eat kimbap anymore." She said, raising a delicate brow at Gwang-Ho and then turned to leave the place. She has no time to socialize with the man who promised her that he will disappear in her life. Though she understands that Gwang Ho is only trying to be the best father to Young Woo, still, the fact remains the same that he is indirectly causing harm to her by simply showing up just before she reaches the biggest achievement she ever wanted, the Minister of Justice.
