Ch. 5: Jealous Sokovian?

Y/N's POV

I nervously walk over toward Wanda and sigh lightly as I attempt to pull myself together so that I won't completely embarrass myself in front of her. I tap her shoulder to get her attention and when she turns around, she smiles when she realizes that it was me. "Hey Y/N, what's up?" she says kindly while looking at me curiously and sending me a smile that melts my heart. My god, she is absolutely adorable. I think to myself and stare at her in adoration for a moment before shaking it off before she realizes.

"I-I was wondering if it isn't too much trouble if you could maybe give me a ride home?" Her smile falls slightly, and she is silent for a while which makes me grow nervous and begin to ramble out nervously. "I-I mean it's totally cool if you can't or if you just don't want to. There's no pressure to say yes or anything! You know what j-just forget I asked, I'll just walk home it's n-no problem after all I don't live too far from the park."

I turn around and my shoulders slump down as I let out a quiet sigh of defeat. I go to walk away from her but I'm stopped when I hear Wanda speak. "Y/N wait!" she says as she grabs my hand making me turn to look back at her. "I-I'm sorry for not responding right away, my m-mind kind of wandered away for a second there. I don't m-mind riding you. Wait! N-no! I-I mean giving you a ride! A ride home that is! S-sorry."

I watch her nervously stumble over her words and I blush slightly at the insinuation that she accidentally made as I send a shy grin her way. "You're sure that it's no problem?" she blushes and chooses to remain silent as she simply nods in response to my question which in turn makes me chuckle at her. "I was also thinking that I could text the guys and see if they're together. That way we could maybe stop by and let them know about the trip before you drop me off?" I propose the idea to her, and she nods in affirmative making me pull out my phone to shoot the boys a text.

I look back up at Wanda and notice her quickly glance back over at me and shoot me a small smile. "Alright! The boys are all at Stark's house which is good since it's on the way to my place. So, you ready to go?" I explain to her as I shoot her a smile in return as I put my phone back in my pocket. She nods at me, and we say our goodbyes to the girls before heading over to Wanda's Buick.
