The Incident

Part 9

Outside the college gate Sid was waiting in his car while sipping a drink as instructed by Isha. He suddenly remembered that Isha had asked him to do something else too. He opened his mobile phone and started browsing hastily. Suddenly he jumped out of shock and rushed to the college gate and talked to a security guard over there. He also texted Stella to come to college immediately. Sid showed his mobile phone to the security guard at the entrance of the college. They both rushed towards the administrative building of the college. As they approached the administrative building of the college suddenly both stopped bewildered. They looked up and saw something falling down from the rooftop of the administrative office to hit the ground,it is a shoe. On the rooftop of the administrative building Rhea was about to push Isha from the edge of the rooftop and Isha was fighting with Rhea and her left shoe slipped off from her foot and fell down hitting the ground. Suddenly Rhea stopped fighting and she is extremely horrified by witnessing the massive crowd which gathered outside the administrative building. She did not understand why and how. The noise that was there all along now became more clearer once she started observing it closely. It is the voice of the people down there chanting slogans against Rhea. Sid was looking at the dropped shoe on the ground and approached near the crowd near the administrative building. He felt rushing to the rooftop to save Isha but there was no time to do that. Rhea was very shocked to see Sid in the crowd. Suddenly Isha felt very energised and a triumph of smile appeared on her face. She looked at Rhea and said "Afterall I did not disappoint you did I roomate" in a sarcastic manner. Rhea started panicking and she was running out of breath. Her eyes went wide opened and she said "What did you do Isha?". Isha looked straight into her eyes while taking out her mobile phone from her pocket and said "Oh Rhea if you ever paid close attention to what your roommate does then you would have made a guess atleast. I have a public social media Instagram and Facebook page where I post my views on criminal investigations in it everyday. I am quite disappointed to know that you have not checked my pages yet. My followers includes most of our batchmates. Before entering your father's office I had started a live stream. Everything you had confessed and everything you and your father had done to get rid of me is being live streamed on my pages and by the way I have asked Sid to watch it too. He must have alarmed and alerted the security guard at the college entrance as soon as he saw you attacking me. I am damn sure that our batchmates might have watched the live stream and alarmed and alerted the police and then gathered here." Rhea quickly snatched Isha' s mobile phone from her hand and checked if it was true. Yes everything was being live streamed. She could see the comments flooding against her. "Justice for Sid" . "Shame on you Ashwin". "Dismiss Ashwin" . "Shame on you Rhea". Rhea's face turned pale and she was barely breathing. She hit the mobile phone to the ground and pulled her hair backwards as she walked hastily towards the stairs and walked back. As the live stream suddenly stopped the crowd was worried about what is happening on the rooftop. Some of them rushed towards the elevator and some of them rushed towards the data centre to get hold of Ashwin. Rhea threw up as she realised that her perfect crime has been uncovered now. She slowed down and sat down on the staircase now . As Isha approached Rhea , she told Isha in a low and dissappointing voice "You know I did everything for him and I love him so much. It is not like that I wanted to hurt Sid by killing his parents. They were not accepting my love and I took swore to do everything to make him mine even if it means killing anyone that stands between both of us". Her voice got deeper now as she continued "even if it is his parents". She continued with tears in her eyes "Dad would do anything for me and we both planned it perfectly and even I pretended to like you". She frowned. But her voice started to grew more angrier as she said "but you took away everything from me and I will make you pay for this Isha" as she started to attack Isha again.
