Sid 's expression changed. He looked away and avoided Isha 's gaze. "I was not there because I had a fight with Rhea earlier that day. She wanted to meet my parents and I was hesitant. I thought that it is too early. We argued and I left her at the coffee shop nearby my house". Isha sensed a crack in the story. "Did you return to your house after the fight"? She asked. Sid hesitated a little bit before responding. "No I went to my friend's house. We hung out and played a game. I did not return home until late". Isha 's eyes narrowed. "Can your friend vouch for you alibi?" Isha asked. Sid 's eyes dropped. "We were not exactly together the whole time. I went for a bit". Isha sensed that Sid was hiding something. "Where did you go during that time"? She asked. Sid's voice was barely above a whisper. "I went to meet someone". Someone who had information about my parents business dealings". Isha 's mind raced. She asked "Who is it"? Sid 's eyes locked on hers. A mixture of fear and desperation. "I will tell you but you have to promise me to keep quiet. It is someone who could ruin my family reputation". Isha's grip on her pen tightened. "I promise. Tell me". Sid leaned in. His voice was barely audible. "It was my uncle. He has been involved in shady dealings and I suspected that he might be connected to my parents murder". Isha 's eyes widened. "Your uncle? Why would Rhea kill your parents for your uncle?". "I don't know. But I think Rhea have stumbled upon someone that she should not have. My uncle must have used her or frame her". Isha 's mind reeled with possibilities. "Let's get to the bottom of this" she said.
