After 2 hours of trekking through the dense forest separating 2 powerful nations on the continent, Ayanokoji and Accelerator had finally exited out of the dense forest and out in the near distance was a medieval town that seemed neither big nor small.
Ayanokoji: That's a start.
Ayanokoji remarked in his monotonic voice after he spotted the town with the intention to initiate a conversation but just Accelerator nodded to the boy's remark.
Ayanokoji: And a start to a peaceful life, a place where that man could never contact me.
The 2 continued their way through the green plains in the sunny weather, walking towards the town and eventually walking on a long dirt path, straight towards the town.
They continued until the duo encountered a small stone bridge over a creek roughly around a few meters wide and no more than a meter deep. In at the bridge was a pretty blonde girl ,around what seemed to be 16, with glimmering ocean blue eyes. She was wearing light armor, consisting of a chest plate made of thick leather and leather arm guards and a sheathed short sword strapped to her waist. She then spoke out to the duo with a bossy tone.
Girl: Hold it, 7 bronze to cross the bridge
Accelerator: Tch, to cross that small bridge?
Girl: Yup.
Both Accelerator and Ayanokoji just stared at her with a blank expression that clearly expressed, "Are you serious?". The girl simply looked at them with a slight hint of confusion.
Girl: So just pay up.
Accelerator: 7 bronze to cross a jumping distance? What a joke.
Girl: If it's jumping distance then do it.
Accelerator: Tch, whatever. Lets go.
He said while tapping on Ayanokoji, indicating him to jump and so to the shock of the girl, the 2 simply stepped to the right of the small bridge and flawlessly without effort, the 2 simply jumped of the creek with a small bit of wind following Accelerator from him using vector manipulation to achieve it while Ayanokoji just used his athletic skills. The girl's eyes widened in shock realizing that they weren't kidding and ran across the bridge to catch up with them, who were now walking.
Girl: Wait, wait ,wait.
Accelerator: Hah?
Accelerator said turning his head towards her, who was now beside him
Ayanokoji: She's admirably persistent.
Accelerator: Annoyingly is the correct word.
Ayanokoji: I also agree with that.
Girl: What? But you need to pay.
Accelerator: Hah?
Ayanokoji: You only mentioned 7 bronze to cross the bridge not a fee to jump over the creek.
The blonde girl slightly pouted, knowing she wasn't going to win the argument.
Girl: Please pay me!!
Accelerator: Tch, are you even an actual worker to be begging at this point?
Girl: I admit it, I'm not. I really need the money, plea--
The girl begged, while making a cute face with puppy eyes and the duo responded, interrupting her instantly.
Accelerator + Ayanokoji: No.
Girl: So quick, are you even human?
Accelerator: I'm immune to the puppy eyes brat.
