Lagoona's POV
I was at the monster high swimming pool practicing for the MH swim team. I was swimming as fast as I could because I really wanted that trophy!! Then Gil walked into the room. " Hey Mate!!!" I called out I couldn't help it! I was soooo excited that prom was coming up soooo soon!! But I was also nervous that Gil wouldn't ask me out to the dance. We've been good friends ever since he came to Monster High but, I didn't know that he had the same feelings for for me as I did for him so I highly doubted it. Anyway, we kinda are a lovey dovey couple but, ever since the new transfer student Lorna Mcnessie came here to Monster High, shes been stealing him away from me!! I mean I'm not jealous or anything but..... fine, I AM JEALOUS!!!! Ever since they've been hanging out together, its like i'm invisible to Gil unless I walk up to him and talk to him. " Hey Lagoona!" He said in excitement. "Wanna practice for the swim team love?" I asked. "Sure but there has been something I've been needing to ask you but, I.... I was to nervous to ask you." He said in a nervous way. "You can tell me anything mate don't be nervous. What is it love?" I was REALLY hoping he was going to ask me to the dance. " Well since you've been such a great friend, I was wondering if.... you would like to go to the dance with me?" he asked. OMG!!! HE ASKED ME OUT TO THE DANCE!!!! "GIL!!! I WOULD LOVE TO!!!!" I shouted so loud it echoed through the room. I hugged him as tightly as I could!! " So I would say that is a yes?" He asked. "Of course silly!" I didn't care if other monsters were starring blankly at us. I was just the happiest Monster ever right now
