Chris and his brothers were in the city that never sleeps; New York City. It was their second time there, but everything felt unfamiliar. Everything seemed to look new and different. Chris actually didn't like the atmosphere here, it was too crowded, too busy, too loud and simply just too much. But his brothers wanted to visit again during winter and go ice skating, which Chris didn't mind.

It was currently 11pm and they had just finished skating. The rink, as Chris had predicted, was insanely packed, and he felt like he was bumping into people every few minutes. But he and his brothers still managed to have fun. They were currently walking in time square, searching for somewhere to eat. Chris didn't care what they ate; he just wanted food now. His stomach growled as he spoke to Matt about how Nick fell on his ass while trying to catch Chris on the ice, laughing.

"Shut up, Chris. Anyways, it looks like Chris Jr is hungry." Nick said pointing at Chris' stomach and laughing, joined by Matt.

Chris rolled his eyes with a smile. It was pretty obvious he was hungry though he wasn't trying to hide it either.

As the triplets spoke and laughed about their day, Chris spotted a McDonalds. He stopped and peered inside and noticed that it wasn't that packed. Finally, they could go get food!!

He turned around to speak. "Guys, let's eat he-"

Chris was stopped dead in his tracks. His brothers weren't there anymore. He looked around the area, but couldn't see them at all. The streets were too crowded; he could barely even see his own feet. Where had they gone?

Chris tried to search for them, calling their names even though his voice couldn't be heard from a couple inches away, let alone his brothers who he had no clue where they were.

Breathe. Calm down. Chris couldn't think straight anymore, the fear of being alone and not knowing where his brothers were in a huge city that he didn't even know was beginning to make him freak out. His breath seemed to quicken as his throat closed up. Chris was bumping into people, shaking as he apologized and tried to search for his brothers. Only then did he realize how cold it was. Freezing actually. His fingers were tinted red and stiff from the cold. Everything felt like it hit Chris abruptly leaving him unable to think properly and on the brink of tears.

Just then Chris felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and he pulled it out, hands trembling from the coldness. It was Matt. He immediately answered the call. "Matt."

"Chris, where are you!" Matt said through the phone.

"I-I don't know." Chris stuttered out, searching for anything familiar near him.

"Why did you leave us? Are you okay?" Nick's voice asked.

Chris' voice felt trapped in his throat as he tried to reply. He ended up letting out a sob instead.

"Oh, Chris, you're gonna be okay, sweetheart." Nick soothed, trying his best to calm his brother. "Just send us your location and we'll come look for you, okay?"

Chris nodded before he realized that they couldn't see him. "Please hurry."

"We will." Nick said as Chris sent his location to the both of them, Nick immediately figuring out where his brother was.

"Chris, do you want me to stay on the phone with you?" Matt asked, trying to sooth him as best as he could through the phone.

"Yes please." Chris replied.

"Okay, buddy, why don't you sit down and try to calm down. Nick and I are already on our way." Matt said.

Chris did as he was told and Matt could hear his brother taking deep breaths through the phone. A pint of guilt washed over him. How could they not notice that Chris wasn't with them anymore?

"That's right, Chris, deep breaths. You're doing great." Matt said, confirming Chris' method of calming himself.

As Nick walked back through the streets he and Matt went through, they ended up seeing a McDonalds and there he spotted Chris sitting at the steps, his face in his knees as his body slightly shook.

Nick ran towards his brother and pulled him off the ground. "Chris, hey, you're okay now."

Chris gasped in relief and gripped onto Nick tightly, sobbing into his chest.

"You're okay now, Chrissy. You're okay. We're here." Matt soothed as Chris latched onto him, rubbing his back.

"I was so s-scared." Chris sobbed out as Nick ruffled his hair.

"I'm sorry, sweets. I don't know how we didn't notice that you weren't with us." Nick said as Matt nodded, still holding Chris up.

After a few more minutes of hugging, Chris pulled away from Matt and held his hand instead. This way he wouldn't get lost again.

Nick understood what Chris was trying to do, and grabbed his other hand. "Why don't you pick the place to eat, Chris? Do you still want McDonalds?"

"Hmm, yes please." Chris said as Nick nodded.

The triplets all walked inside and sat down at a table that was slightly secluded. When Nick offered to go order for them, Chris insisted on going with him, not wanting to let go of his hand.

"Alright, let's go then." Nick said as they went off to order their meals.

Within a couple of minutes, Chris seemed to be acting like himself again. He was joking around with Nick and Matt as they enjoyed their food and each other's company. However, for the rest of their trip in New York City, whenever they were out, Chris held onto one of his brothers.
