"No." You say with frustration, "For the third time,no."

Mike sighed. "Come on, please, I know you like D&D so why won't you come?"

"Because she doesn't like Eddie," Dustin said with a groan, "Come on. Mike, this is a waste of our time."

"Just think about it, please." Mike whispered, slipping you a paper. As they walk away your mind starts to wander. What if I do go, You thought, just for a bit. If he really is unbearable I'll just leave. You look across the cafeteria to where Mike and Dustin just settled down next to him. You groan to yourself. Its not that you don't like him. It's not that at all. You find him intoxicating and you don't want to do something you would regret.

Just then you see him out of the corner of your eye. Of course he is, you thought. You try to hide the smirk forming on your face. "Really, don't encourage him." she hears Sammy groan.

"What? I think it's kinda charming. He's funny and he's the only one who stands up to Jason and his dogs."

"Yea well if you think he's so charming, why don't you take up Mike on his offer. You have plenty of time." She said with a cheesy grin.

"Oh stop, Sam, that's not what I'm saying. I just... I don't know there's just some about him." As you were talking you never stopped looking at him. Just then Eddie locks eyes with you. He jumps down from the table and strolls over to you, never breaking eye contact. "Hi, there," he says in a sickeningly sweet voice, "Are you the lovely lady Mike and Dustin were telling me about?"

"Come on, Eddie, you've known me since middle school. Don't you remember?" You say, matching his tone. Though you were almost hurt that he remember you. He begins to look at you closer in a way that makes you start to blush.
" Imagine blonde pigtails and braces." Sammy said with a smirk. There was a long pause and you thought he was gonna walk away.
"Oh... Yeah you were Nancy's friend right?" He finally said after about two minutes.
"Yes, yes I was, I still am but she graduated and I'm... stuck here."
"So..." He said expectantly.
" so... What?" You say back, even though you know exactly what he was going to say.
"Are you coming tonight? You know... Hellfire Club?" He asked with an expression she could not read.
"Oh...um .." you look at Sammy. She was just staring back with a smirk. "Yea, I guess I could make an appearance."you say, shrugging your shoulders like it didn't matter much. Even though you've wanted nothing more than more time with him since the moment he looked at you.
"Ok..sweet well see you tonight." He said, with a look that said more. With a wink your way he headed back to his table.
Sammy smacked you on the arm. "Ow! What was that for?" You rub your arm with a smirk.
"You know what! Your going out with Eddie Munson tonight!" Sammy gasped, nearly bordering on a scream.
"Shhh.. I'm not "going out" with him," you put up air quotes, "I'm going to Hellfire Club. That's all, just a game. It's not like he would try anything there anyway." You said trying not to sound so disappointed.
"Yea but you would like it to." Sammy said with a smirk. More seriously she added, " just be careful with him please he's kinda weird."
You were almost hoping something would happen. You didn't care how weird he was he was intriguing and sparked something in you that you couldn't name. And if for whatever reason something happened there you were sure Mike would run right to Nancy and tell her so you decided you would tell her first.

"What! No...no no no." Nancy was already pacing.
"Nance, calm down it's just a game." You say trying to hide you excitement about meeting hun later.
"Really? Then why do you have the same dark look in your eyes as you did when you told me you were doing stuff with Steve?" She shot you a glare.
"Come on this is different! I really feel something when Eddie talks to me. It's like this electricity I can't shake." Your mind begins to wander back to lunch today. His shirt rode up just enough to see his pants line and the way he was leaning on the table with his hands, his signature rings glinting under the fluorescent lights of the cafeteria, his eyes dark with mischief......
"Hello, I'm talking to you," Nancy said, snapping her fingers, "didn't you hear me?"
"Oh... um.. no sorry what?" You said the memories fading back to reality.
"I said I've never seen you like this," said Nancy with a gasp. "You've never spoken this way about boys, girls yes, boys never." She continued. "I'm just very surprised that's all. Especially the fact that you are talking about Eddie Munson."
You sigh. "Let's just see how tonight goes."
