You finally arrived at school, very late, with a coffee in your hand. You walk into Mrs. Green's class and all eyes are on you. You go and sit down in your seat after the attention is off you but you feel eyes burning into the back of your head. You turn around and see Sammy staring at you with a smirk. "Just a game, my ass!" She mouths. "Shut up!" You mouth back, turning red as a beet. Turning back to pay attention, you realize you definitely didn't do the reading from last night. "Fuck." You whisper to yourself, cradling your head in your hands.
_______________
*********************At lunch, Sammy doesn't shut up, asking you every question imaginable about what went down last night. "So," she begins again, for the fifth time, "What exactly happened last night?"
"Nothing, I went to his house to do homework." You lie through your teeth.
"I know that's not true because first of all Eddie Munson, doing homework, not in my lifetime. And second of all, if you were doing homework it sure as hell wasn't for Mrs. Green's class... Or Mr. Fleet's class so what's really going on?"
You feel yourself start to turn red again and you know you have to explain yourself, "Fine, but you can't tell anybody."
"Okay, fine."
"Promise..."
"Okay. I promise. Jesus, now will you tell me," she said through gridded teeth. "It's not like you guys robbed a bank or something."
" Okay, fine," you lean in closer so other people around you don't hear. " so last night... I... had sex with him."
"You slept together?" Sammy said in disbelief. "I'm sorry but I've never heard you say those words before, especially about a man."
"What do you mean?" You asked, genuinely confused.
"Ya know you would always say you "fucked", never slept with or had sex," she said with air quotes, " I kind of didn't really think sex meant that much to you." She finished sheepishly.
" but it wasn't like that... I don't know it was... different, somehow." You say, thinking about last night with a smile. Do you imagine you have that same cheesy grin on your face that Eddie did the first time you two spoke.
"No. Don't do that." You look back at Sammy, still smiling.
"What do you mean?" You say losing the smile and staring daggers in her direction
" I mean don't even think about it. Couldn't you find someone normal to moon over. Like Jason, he's nice." She shot Jason a smile. He didn't even spare a passing glance. Why does she even bother... , you think to yourself. Lord knows you would never say it to her face you love her too much. You aren't afraid to say how you feel about him personally, though.
"That's why, Jason is a dick. At least Eddie is nice and has an actual personality and a good taste in music and...."
"Okay, I get it geez," Sammy said, with a disgusted look on her face. "How do you think people are going to react to that, you being his girl?" You think about for a moment and you feel anger bubble inside you. You don't care that people would judge you. Why should you, you know him and he's a great guy and he makes you feel something again. You know people would disown you or stop being your friend. This could even affect your future. You would be an outcast but you couldn't give up the only connection that has made you feel alive these past few months.
"Okay," you finally tell her, "I won't keep seeing him." Or at least I won't talk to you about it, you add to yourself. This obviously wasn't true but maybe she would believe you for now. You did want to have a talk with Eddie about this though. Maybe he would feel differently and you wouldn't have to be the one to end things.______________
********************You go over to Eddie's house a few days later to "study". This is when you would talk to him about what exactly you and him were doing. You wanted to be with him, it's all you wanted. But you also wanted to see how he felt about the whole situation. You were having second thoughts but you wouldn't talk yourself out of it now, you were already knocking on his door.
"Oh... hey beautiful, I wasn't expecting you." Eddie greeted you with such a speak in his eye. As you looked at him you felt your heart crack at the thought of what might not be.
"Hey, Eddie. Can we talk," you peak in and see his Uncle Wayne, "privately?" You finish.
"Sure, love." He closed the door and walked into the woods behind the trailer park. You follow him for a while and you finally recognize the picnic table he deals from. He turns around and leans on the table, "Okay, what's up? You okay?"
You take a breath before you start to talk to compose yourself, "Eddie, I think we should just sleep together and nothing more. I don't think I can have my heart broke it again and to be honest I am afraid to open up to anyone anymore. You are the first person I felt real with in a long time and that scares the hell out of me." Woah, you add to yourself, too honest.
You know in your heart that's why you don't want to go farther with him. You don't care about what others think, that's not a concern you have at all you are pretty much already an outcast. The only difference between you and Eddie is you don't make a show out of yourself. "I just think I need time to be vulnerable again." You look up from your hands and look him in the eyes expecting to see anger but you instead saw understanding.
He smiles at you, "we can take all the time you need, I would just really like to get to know you better."
You take a moment think and realize you were tearing up. You wipe your eyes before he notices. You really didn't need him to ask why you're crying. You look at him with a smile to hide the tear, "Okay, let's take it one step at a time." He looks at you in the eyes with a deep sadness."Aren't you worried about what people will say about you, being with me?" You felt a pant of sympathy, "Absolutely not, I could care less about what other people think about me." You day with a sweet smile. "I don't care if people see us together you make me feel in a way I've never felt before."
As he leaned in the picnic table, his face suddenly changed and his eyes got dark with mischief. "Oh, so you don't care if someone sees me do this?" He pulls your waist in. "Or this," he kisses your neck. "Oh no, I really don't." You breathe, leaning your head back and letting your eyes flutter shut. "How about this?" He turns you around and pushes your ass up against the table and starts kissing you. You lick and hit at each other's lips for a moment then he moves back to your throat, his cold rings shocking on your heated skin. His other hand unbuckles your belt and unzips your jeans. "What's wrong, baby?" He whispers as you moan, "Do you want more?"
"God, yes..." you moan. He pushes his hand into your pants then he stops. "The who's are you?" He growls.
"Yours. I'm yours. God Eddie please don't stop!" You scream as he starts fingering your and rubbing your clit with his thumb.
"Cum for me, baby." He whispered in your ear. You feel the organs take over your body and your knees feel weak. He removes his hand from your jeans. You shudder at the feeling. "You okay, baby?" He chuckles at your reaction.
"Mhmm." You muster opening your eyes again and ripping your pants. You sit down on the table for a moment to compose yourself. You look up to see him staring at you with this beautiful look in his eyes. "So," he whispers, "would you like to see something awesome?"
