y/n pov

I took the train, halfway to new york where wanda was. I had the biggest smile on my face as the train began to move, I hadn't felt alive during the three weeks she was gone. I hardly drank any blood, only laying in bed with her ring beside me, hoping she'd come back some day to retrieve it. I couldn't wait anymore, I had to be the one to give it to her.

the train stopped and I felt myself tear up, running out and running down the escalator, searching the crowd for wanda.

it was easy to spot her, she was the only
one with the pretty smile.

she hadn't spotted me yet so I ran to her, quickly reaching her as I grabbed her hand.

"y/n-"

"come on, the train leaves in a few minutes"
we ran back up the stairs as I lead us towards the train that would take us back to our home.
I threw her in the entrance as I urged her towards the first class carriage I had booked previously.

we stood in the train corridor, the door quickly shutting behind us as we both caught our breathes.

wanda pov

"y/n?"
I turned to her with confused eyes as she hugged me with all the strength that she had. holding my head with one hand and my waist with the other, trapping me in.

"y/n?"

"I will not let them have you"
I wrapped my arms around her waist as she spoke into my neck.

"I signed a contract, saying I'd do anything to protect you, wanda. that includes letting you go"

"y/-"

"let me be selfish, just this once. I don't care if they want you out there, I need you with me"
she sobbed in my arms, clutching me tighter as my eyes stayed wide.

"I can't breathe"
she loosened her arms slightly but stayed still.

"you will come back home, I'll sort things out with fury. I don't care what it takes, I won't hand you over to anyone. not to the avengers, not to fury, nobody needs you as much I do"
I cried happy tears, shaking in her grip as she whispered her words into my ear.

"now, I don't know how this family shit works but you can teach me. I will learn for you. me and wolfie can be a family for you"
I pulled away and groaned at the mention of family.

"did tony say something?"
I turned around, sort of pacing as I complained about the billionaire.

"he did, didn't he? that man, he is so annoyingly overprotective, all the ti-"
I was cut off by a kiss.

y/n pov

she had her back to me, distracted by something else but I just couldn't wait. as she turned her body, I quickly attached my lips onto hers, silencing her words. I felt her body freeze and eventually soften as I placed my hands below her jawline, on her neck.

wanda pov

she kissed me and I had never felt more alive.
we relaxed in each other's arms but our hearts were on fire.

she released me but quickly leant forward again, to kiss me more passionately. I groaned into her mouth, leaning forward as she pulled her lips away, still keeping her soft grasp on my neck.

"I love you"
I blurted out, as she smiled.

"I know"
she nodded, stroking my cheek with her thumb.

"I love you too, you idiot"
I pulled away, going to mess up her hair as she groaned, knowing what was coming as she winced and closed her eyes. I placed my hand on her head, but instead of violently ruffling, I began to stroke her hair. she opened her eyes and hesitantly smiled as she melted underneath me.

"let's go home"
she sighed contently beneath me.

"nothing would make me happier"
