The winds blew violently across the city, the clouds in the sky grew a heavy, concealing black and the ground corroded with every act of malice from battle. I felt the calming warmth of my breath, flush around my face as my blonde hair waved in the breeze. Closing my eyes, I took a step, and then another, and another, growing my confidence up, filling myself with determination. I smiled and felt tears dwelling in my eyes. It was finally going to be over, all of it. All we needed now was the courage to finish what we started.

My eyes opened and I took one last look of the world, the world that our creator worked so hard to make. Our Earth.

"Okay.........let's do this." I breathed.

We swung across over the ground below , flying, running and moving underneath. Demons of all kinds, joining in unity to fight our final battle. Who would've thought that in the end we would have to face our own sovereign. The one who worked terrifically hard to build up our home, the home that I grew up in. We have to destroy what my father created. The normal order of things? It has to go.

The giant, flaming snake thrashed itself around, dissolving everything in contacts reach. However the worst part is, is not the destruction that was being caused by the spirit, but the fact that it wasn't even his fault. He couldn't control his own actions. And we had to stop it.

Don't worry father...I'm going to save you.

"Alastor?" I called out.

The red-headed man turned around, dodging a whip of flames.

"Charlie..." I heard him mumble.

Lightning bolts scattered across the ground, building up immense amounts of static into the air. I could feel the hairs on my arm drift upwards, like metal being drawn to a magnet tip. I glanced up and saw Vox, one of hell's most powerful overlords, thrust up into the air and slash the snake across the side with a large, bare wire, electrifying the creature momentarily. Not for a long amount of time, but just long enough to allow me and Al to sneak around it's flank.

"Okay, Al, do you think you could give me a boost up to its eyeline?" I asked.

"That I can do, my dear."

I mustered all of the energy built inside me and drew open a pair of pure white, angel wings. I circled them around a little bit to losen them off as I had kept them locked away for a decent amount of time. Father would always get so mad if I didn't conceal them, he always thought it was a disgrace to show them off, it was a sign of traitorous behaviour. That's what he said anyway. It wasn't true. It was just his fear.

"Ready darling?" Alastor smiled.

I responded with a firm nod.

Alastor dug his microphone into the ground and surged it with a powerful repelling energy.

With his foot, he directed me to stomp on it when I wanted to launch. We exchanged reassuring glances and I spread my wings, ready.

"Okay, here we go."

I slammed my foot into the springpad and was propelled through the air like a shooting star.

The feathers of my wings throttled through the air against the wind resistance, feeling a lot more sensitive than I thought they would be. The tips of my wings felt a strange relief as I snapped them open, hovering me in the sky. Eye level with the beast.

"Father..." I whispered out into the wind.

His luminescent eyes darted to my direction and bared his intimidating fangs.

I clocked my head to the side ever so slightly and smiled with dampened eyes. The snake roared out a loud hiss and threw a giant orb of darkness towards me. Wispy around the edges, I punched the ball away, deflecting it with a shield of piercing light (which I didn't even know I contained), earning a frozen expression from the surprised demon. Realising this gift could be used to my advantage, I gracefully drifted through the air like an angel in battle, deflecting every dark offense at me. This only angered the snake even more. However, its blinding rage gave me the opportunity to gather an attack at its core. I dove down, slicing the air and threw my arm up, summoning a holy spear before melting away the protective crust to reveal pure light. I flew straight towards my dad and steadied my hand, ready for the finish.
