Eren stopped staring and started to run. The titan raised its arm and dragged it across the top of the wall. Eren easily dodged but all of the cannons got destroyed. This titan didn't seem normal to me. It made a grab at Eren but missed. At this point, I disregarded any plan I had conjured up and went straight for the nape. I didn't try to work out if other angles would have been better. The wind brushed against my face, with force, as i spiraled through the air and to its nape. Me and Eren crossed paths halfway down. We nodded to each other before letting out a war cry. Just before our blades made contact with its skin, boiling hot steam released from its weak spot. I got blasted back but Eren stayed due to him being attached to the titan.
i fiddled with my gear while plummeting to the floor. I wasn't about to die to some damn steam. Well, maybe I was...? My eyes clenched shut as i fell quicker. Finally, I hit something hard. It was strange since I still had feeling in my body and I wasn't in any pain. I allowed one of my eyes to open slightly. A face loomed over mine. My eyes snapped open and my vision adjusted. I saw Bertholdt. He looked like he was panicking slightly but I couldn't tell for sure since he was sorta hiding his face.
