Sunday was a bit rainy so I stayed inside, but the inside is boring! So who did I call? 

Ghostbusters! 

No seriously. I decided to call Eddie to see how he was doing. 

I dialed his number and waited for the phone to pick up, during I twirled my finger with the curly wire "Hello? Kaspbrak residence" A woman answered, I figured it was his mom.

"Hi! Is Eddie there?" I smiled cheerfully, hopefully, he is there. 

"Yes, who are you?" The mom asked in an almost growly voice.

 "Um, I'm Y/n, one of Eddie's friends" I answered with a breathy tone. I could feel the snooty look on her face. It all went silent until I heard a muffled 'Eddie bear! A girl named y/n wants to talk to you!' Was yelled out. 

I heard faint running through the phone and Eddie quickly grabbed it "Y/n!" He yelled cheerfully, I giggled. 

"Hi, Eddie bear!" I laughed and Eddie groaned.

"Shut up! Anyways, why'd you call me?" He asked, I rubbed my neck almost as if he could see my action.

"I just wanna talk, you know, like friends" I giggled. 

"Oh, okay" He answered, "About what?" Eddie quickly followed up.

"How are you?" I asked, I kept twirling my fingers into the wire.

"I'm.. good, thanks. How are you?" He asked I could hear a faintly tapping on what I could only assume was a coffee table.

"I'm alright, a little bored though. I was gonna go get ice cream with my dad but it started to rain. Hey, wait! How about we all go to the ice cream parlor after school tomorrow!" I cheered excitedly. 

"Sure! I'll need to ask my mom first though, see you at school tomorrow?" He asked as his face became all blushy-blushy. 

"Yep! Bye Eddie!" I smile before putting the phone back on the wall. 

Eddie put the phone down and fell to the wall, heart pounding excitedly "I love you" He whispered.
