"So, I managed to master the chocolate cake recipe mum!"

I walk out the kitchen holding out the chocolate covered cake as I peek my head out not seeing mum in my line of sight.

Hang on. Where the hell is she?
"Mum!" I call out once more seething the cake aside as I remove my oven mitts walking out the kitchen door.

"Mum!"
I yell out once again and she does respond back.
What the hell? She was here a second ago.

I walk out now searching the room as I walk over to the coat cupboard.
And my heard drops.

"Mum!"
Her body is collapsed on the ground as she lays there completely unconscious.
"Mum!"

My knees drop the the ground as I shake her body awake trying to get her up.
"Hey! Hey come on!"
The scream escape my lungs as I lift her head to my arms trying to search for my phone the tears streaming down my face.

"Mum please wake up!"

"Wake up."

I gasp awake looking around instantly as I sit up feeling my chest rise and fall so high as I feel the tears streaming down my face.

"Mum, she's, s-she. Mum she-"
"Fallon, hey you're in my room." I hear Clay's voice finally letting my eyes shoot open.

"What?" I gasp looking around as my eyes set on the views around me. When did I fall asleep?
Who the hell put me in Clays bed?

"B-but I just, my mum. She was....Clay she was."

He looks down at me so. Infused as he holds onto my sides trying to calm me down and I look around the room to see Sheri stood behind Clay and Justin by the couch.

"Your mom isn't here." Clay softly says as his hands stroke the sides of my arm and I instantly realise it was just a dream. Or memory.
Or whatever the hell my mind decided to picture.

"Do you need your inhaler?" Clay instantly reaches for the handle by the drawer but I pull his hand away shaking my head as I try get my breathing back into a steady pace.

"No, no I'll be fine I just. I don't know." I shake my head letting it fall forward into my hands and Clays sits close to my side.

"Fuck I don't even know when I fell asleep."

"Two hours ago." Justin immediately answers and I look over to Sheri so confused when she had arrived.
"You said you were just gonna shut your eyes for a second."

"And you let me nap, fuck I had to meet up with Jess, and my phone, fuck I have to call Mrs Baker."

I instantly rush to stand on my feet searching around my mind still in a haze.
"Okay I think you should sit down for a second."

Sheri steps forward holding her hand on my shoulder to sit me back down and u shake my head instantly stressed out the moment my eyes were focused on the screen of my phone.

"No-"
"Fallon, she's right." Justin adds in staring at me from the couch he sits on.
And I listen now sitting still as my head dips down and I rub my eyes.

"Sheri I'll walk you out."
Clay walks over to the door and Sheri nods keeping her eyes on me and then glancing over at Justin for another second before she walks through the door.

And Clay follows out with her shutting his door.

And once again we're left alone. Just the two of us.
Yay! So enthusiastic, not awkward at all.
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
I decided to talk first and he slowly exhales before locking his gaze with mine.
