Chapter 1:
"Sassy, Sassy, Wake up!!" Sassy grabbed her glasses and put them on. "What is it now Zoey?" Sassy looked up and saw her sister. "Breakfast is ready." Sassy got up out of bed and went into the bathroom to put her contacts in. "Zoey, you really didn't have to make me breakfast. I can make it myself you know." Sassy plucked her contacts in and adjusted her eyes. Zoey was leaning against the door frame. "I thought you might like some. I know you love your bacon." Sassy stared at her sister trying to find a hint of a smile. "Sure you did. I can see the smile." Zoey started laughing her head off. "I know. I just made to many extra and now you get to have them!" Zoey started walking to the kitchen, Sassy followed. "Thanks for the offer Sis, but I'm not hungry right now. I think I'll go for a swim." Zoey was turning on the TV. She loved to watch Cake Boss, She attempted to try and make some of the cakes that Buddy had made but they looked like a mental version of what Buddy made. Zoey turned around "Okay, Just be back by 12, We are going to see Mom today." Sassy ran up stairs and grabbed her bathing suit so she could go swimming down at the bay. Sassy lived in Honolulu so there was always somewhere to swim. Sassy grabbed her flip-flops and headed out the door. She got in her car and drove to the bay. When she got their she noticed something weird, the water was moving more than usual. She looked over and saw these really pretty girls. She had never seen them before. She didn't want to get involved with them, she didn't know them! She decided to just go to the pool and swim their. She was on the Swim Team that traveled the states so she got in for free to the public pool. She went to the bay so that she had more challenges. When she was at the pool it only went to 6 foot and there wasn't any rocks to give her challenges. She decided to go to the Pool today because she didn't want to be with those girls. When she got in her car she drove to the pool and went swimming. She knew her sister would be expecting her back by 11 so she had time to get ready. When she left the house it had been 10 and now it was 10:45 so she swam for about 10 more minutes then went home. When she got home her sister was reading a book in her room. Sassy took a shower and brushed her hair. Her hair was long and flowing like a river. It was a a golden brown. She picked out a super cute pair of shorts and a ruffled top. They had to drive 20 minutes to get to where they're mom was. Every since Zoey was 8 and Sassy was 7 they're mom had been in a special needs home. While their mom had been driving them to Zoey's birthday party and a semi truck skipped a red light and hit them straight on. Zoey had been left with a scar on her left arm and Sassy had gotten a long and harsh scar on her left thigh. Their mom on the other hand was in a coma for a very long time. Sassy got out of the car when they got to the Home, Zoey followed. Their mom Lucie came running outside. She gave the girls a big hug! "It's been forever since I last saw you! Why didn't you come visit sooner?" Sassy smiled at her mom not being able to remember that they had been their last weekend. "Mom, We were here just last week." Lucie looked at her. She looked puzzled. "Oh, Well why don't we go inside and talk. I told them you were coming so they let me make some cookies!!" They went inside and the workers their greeted them politely. Sassy and Zoey went into Lucie's room. One Direction pictures were everywhere. "Here have a cookie." Lucie held out a plate with cookies, Zoey looked over in the garbage and saw a Chips Ahoy! bag in the garbage. Zoey giggled a little at the thought Lucie went thought all that trouble to 'make' them cookies. Lucie and her girls talked for a while about everything. They both knew that whatever they told their mom, she would not remember it the next time they came. When they left they went home and had so dinner and went to bed.
