I found a prompt and I was left dumbfounded. This is also on my solangelo prompt book, I just posted it on there and wanted to publish it in this book, too. Enjoy :) (also, look at me posting 2 oneshots in a day... it won't last long-)
Will
"Truth or dare?" I asked Nico as we lay in Cabin 13, simply on his bed doing nothing. Doing nothing is nice, especially being a demigod, it's a good break... just until ADHD kicks in. That usually takes about 5 minutes. If you're lucky.
"Truth." Nico replied in a bored tone.
"Biggest fear."
"Oohhh, so many to choose from." Nico said and I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic.
"You can list all of them." I shrugged.
"Well... Tartarus. That scared the shit out of me."
"That would scare the shit outta anyone. I have no idea how you got through that other than pure strength and willpower."
Nico clear his throat, blushing. "I got captured and I had pomegranate seeds. Anyway, almost fading away scared me pretty bad. I at least wanted to get the statue to camp before I died, and thankfully, I did."
Nico thought for a moment and I turned my head to look at him, his deep chocolatey-brown eyes wandering the ceiling. "But the worst one would have to be loosing everyone I love." He said turning his head to face me, too.
I leaned in and kissed him, cupping his cheek. "Well, you aren't loosing me. You're stuck with me no matter what." Nico smiled, his cheeks tinted pink and pecked my nose.
"What about you?"
I thought for a moment pondering my answers. "I have a couple of them, too, but my biggest one would have to be you."
Nico looked taken aback. "Me?!" His eyes filled with panic and tears. I cupped his face again, with both hands this time, and explained.
"I'm scared, Neeks, that one day, you will look in the bathroom mirror and see you as I see you. Brave, beautiful, strong, talented, adorable, hot, kind, and utterly amazing. I'm scared that you'll realize how good you are and that you deserve someone so much better than me. And honestly I hope you do. I don't want to loose you, but I want you to know how awesome you are."
Nico looked shocked and a tear ran down his face, but because we were laying on our sides it slid across his face and onto the mattress. I quickly wiped his eyes with my thumbs.
"I'm scared that you'll realize all of that and leave. I'm scared of you leaving, Nico."
"Wha- What?" Nico's eyes weren't panicked anymore, just sad and confused. "I would never leave you, Will. I love you. I love you more than anything in the world. You have changed my life and given me an actual will to live. (No pun intended)" I chuckled at that, wiping my own eyes, staring at my boyfriend fondly as he talked.
"You make me feel safe after I have nightmares." Nico continued. "You make me feel loved when I'm lonely. You have changed my life and me and I don't want to love and be loved by anyone else but you, Will. You."
"What did I do to get you as my boyfriend?" I asked, leaning in slightly.
"What did I do to get you as my boyfriend?" Nico smiled and closed the distance. This had to be the most mind boggling and emotion-filled kiss we had ever shared. I never wanted it to end.
